Really impressed how well it went uphill. A downhill bike is usually only good at one thing and that's going downhill (some engineering trickery going on here). Trek is really finding a secret sauce with its 6 gen bikes setting them apart from other bikes in their class.

I was gonna get one... until i saw how easily the chain comes off during even small hits. Would rather just run a coil on a fuel ex

Have they eliminated knock block?

Yes it got bad reviews. Knock block can be installed if you like but it isn’t included in the stock bike.

Talk more about the flex. I guess it must be sideway flex you talk about? How did you come to the conclusion it is flex? more details.

Is the flex on the rear linked to that high pivot? Because the bike length will grow under compression with that suspension design.

I don't see why would there be more flex than any other trek bike. I have a hard time thinking the slash is more flexy than fuel ex, and fuel ex is absolutely not a flexy frame.

the wheelbase grow under compression on a high pivot and that could be the reason someone who never rode a high pivot fell its flexing.@@TeamCykelhold

We're not sure quite yet but as we continue testing and putting miles down we're going to be figuring that out. That high pivot and other pivot behind is just dealbreaker for me. Looks ugly as hell. I just prefer the old normal pivot. I looked to new slash, but ill stick to my 2022 carbon frame looks like
