I have two pairs of Barents and one pair of Keb. Best pants I have ever owned, no doubt about that. That said, as soon as I find something equally good that is made in Europe I will switch in a heartbeat. I, and many others too, would happily pay few extra tens of euros for a european made product, not something that comes out of Vietnam.

Never take mine off .......best trousers I have ever owned. Superbly comfortable, superbly practical, I will wear these out.....but not soon !

The Barents Pro Trousers are the best trousers I've ever worn! Unfortunately, the Karl was a disappointment and its quality is somewhat similar to the fair-weather-trekking competition from Jack Wolfskin and Co.

Fjallraven makes good woodwork trousers. Trekking trousers with pocket on top of tights are a non sens, cotton mix with polyamide too, even military trousers don't have pockets on top of tights.

I got my Barents Pro Hydratic Trousers in Dark Olive they are high quality, durable and warm. wold love to have a Barents Parka in Dark Olive size M

Keb trousers are a strange size, 34" waist (50) too tight 36 waist (52) a little loose. The worst part thought it the soft shell which is too stretchy so you get no support round the waist, and the pockets don't feel safe enough to put keys in to because of the material being quite fragile.

humans come in all sizes; its not like you can design something that perfectly fits everyone... it just means it isnt for you.

I bought a pair of Keb trousers, after less than 40 days mountain wear both bottom seams have holes in them. In my opinion, the bottom of the trousers are too heavy for the normal material, not worn crampons with them or done anything apart from normal Trekking. I am in my 50s and have never had a pair of trousers fail so quickly. Sent away 18th December still waiting for any reply from Fjall Raven a month later. So far poor quality for what they are and the price charged. Bad customer service from Fjall Raven

What are the main differences between the Vida Pro and the Keb trousers? Looking at getting two pairs of either.

Vidda pro is made with the G1000 fabric all over. Keb has more stretchy sections

Hi, It is the Kalfjäll softshell jacket and it is no longer in our collection since several years unfortunately. I hope some of our other styles are interesting, even though we don´t have a very similar style today.

my clothing is HEAVILY centered around survival as all the items that i have and own i carry in a single backpack and don't really have a permanent residence. im interested in getting two pairs of these types of pants as thats all i want to carry, which do you recommend for ALL types of enviroments? desert, jungle, and winter enviroments

A few years ago, this type of pants were worn by national park rangers in summer. Their were frequent small grass fires that due to their remote location had to be put out with beaters. Removing the legs from their pants prevented the legs from heating up and the hot fabric burning their legs, while also reducing the risk of the pants catching on fire. Their were a couple of stories of guys using the pants legs to beat some of the fire out when their were not enough beaters. I doubt their bosses were very happy when they got back.

T Cha Hej! We have two different pants called Barents, the original Barents Trousers that has a looser fit and higher wast, and the Barents Pro Trousers that has a regular fit an mid waist.

I bought some Bergtagen trousers from Fjallraven and the material has almost worn through with less than 100 miles on them. Had high hopes for the brand, but sadly, they have been a total fail for me.

+Jozef Vladovic Vidda Pro has fixed lenght with adjustment at bottom leg, and Barents Pro has raw length.

They don't, the guy wearing them just has really short legs! Trust me, I had some and they're just a regular length leg.

Got loads , some were shabby made , others were great .thats vietnamese quality controll for you ,,dont buy them for water resistance you will be dissapointed , you cant wax clothes in a tent for weeks on end ,
