Can relate a lot with the medical admission thing, that phase was very very horrible, especially when one has always been a very good student yet couldn't secure admission in a government medical College. I too shifted my stream totally from PCMB to English hons. I thought i was the only one going through such a difficult phase in life, along with health issues and all.

the decision your parents took of moving away from a joint family and living seperately with you three children in order to you know have that freedom like what you said, reminded me of the line in the book 'IT ENDS WITH US' by COLLEEN HOVER when Lily gave birth to her baby and while they were in the hospital room she looked at the baby and said, "it ends with us". i mean those who have read the book will get it, the thing which is different here between Lily and you is that Lily was from a family in which her father was abusive and her husband ryle was also abusive and she realised how she was growing up just like her mom how she used to let go whenever her dad used to physically abuse her and she totally didnt want to be like her mother but it happened the same when ryle aka lily's husband used to beat her and she kept giving him chances, after her delivery she decided to divorce and move on. here your parents decided to move themselves away from the joint family and give you guys a good, free life you know what i mean. i just wrote what i felt, once again saying those who have read that novel will get it. btw LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU ALFIYA! you are my favourite

Honestly, I think I see myself in u in a lot parts that u shared and yes I am waiting eagerly for ur modest fashion brand. Even I take ur outfit references whenever i buy for something special. I can relate to u wearing modest clothes coz mere parents ne b mujhe Bachpan se hi full full kapde pehnaye hai n people even tell me ki kahin main apna man maar k dresses wagera nhi pehnti which is clearly not the case.
