I used base coat to do the crocodile print. I used gelding foundation base coast. You can also use blooming gel which most people do.
Base color:
OPI bare my soul & OPI I couldn’t bare less on top.

I just have a phone holder that clamps on to the desk and I edit on I movie. I do not film the whole time because then the video would be too long.

Would you be able to answer? Sometimes it gets too hot from the gel lamp when I apply the tips- why is that?

That’s called a heat spike, usually when the natural nail bed is thin it will cause that

The white under it makes the green look brighter, otherwise you might have to do multiple layers

You could do it with regular press on nails but plastic tips may not last as long

Did you ever have a fear of filing your clients nails with the drill? Im literally TERRIFIED of it and barely take clients for this reason. I don't know how do over come this fear that I'm going to hurt someone. I know I should have that fear and should be cautious but the anxiety of it just eats me.

Of course! I was really nervous when I first started. Try using safety bits and out the speed lower. Mainly work on the nail and slowly work your way to the cuticle. It’s all about patience and have confidence in yourself!

thanks love! I put a base coat and then the color on the base before curing. the color spread on its own. you could also use blooming gel.

Can gel x be an overlay on natural nails and last a while. I really wanted to try it and I’ve had heart gel overlay on top of my natural nails but now nail techs are saying that they don’t do that anymore it’s more of jel x.

Gel x is more for an extension. You technically can put it over your natural nail but most likely people like to cut the nails down then put the tips on.

@@glammedbeauty so I had ibd hard gel overlay before but a nail tech told me that gel x has replaced it. My nails r thin n gel polish isn’t hard enough n acrylic isn’t as natural. What is the option for me without tip.

Girl, we still do hard gel overlay. The shop that turned you down probably doesn’t know how to do it. There’s also poly gel or tap gel that you could get.

You make it seem so easy, idk what I’m doing wrong but when I do them they only last two weeks

it seems easy to do but there is a lot that goes into it. you have to make sure the nail is properly prepped, make sure the tips are prepped, make sure your gel light is strong enough sometimes if it is weak they wont last long and also sealing your cuticles matter a lot.
