Actually Rakim dont remember it happening. Rocky met Rakim one time and he phoned his mother so she could talk to him. His mother was a huge fan of Rakim, so she asked him about that one time she met him in Harlem but he had no recollection of it. Now, I see he talks about it in this other interview as if he remembers it happening 😂

Rocky is one of the few rappers who actually treads and bridges both the old school and new school generations along w Kendrick Cole etc. Thats what I love about the late 2k early 10s rappers they bridged that old boom bap and trap sound so well.
