lol just bought a pair of leather bostons. To be honest, yes, the trend opened me to them. But now I have them they’re just so comfy and feel high quality I don’t care, I’m convinced I’ll be happily wearing them frequently for the next few years.

That’s why I don’t follow trends. Just wear quality classic style and fits and you’ll never go out of style.

Love my Dale Grenson mules. Very glad not everyone is wearing the style anymore. Trends help me explore a new style but finding pieces I like and making it specifically my own is what I love about being into fashion and style. I tweak a bit at over-saturation, I love being a little unique (not to do with limited quantity).

A bit late to the video. I fully agree that the clog trend has died. That said, I will continue wearing them. I struggled for years to find the perfect summer shoes, but the Bostons were perfect when I discovered them. I don't see myself not wearing them in the future

I still wear my 550s when I want to wear something basic like an AF1 but slimmer. Like with most bandwagoners, folks that bought into a style because of hype will fade. People who actually like the style will stay.

I agree with most of your opinions except cross body bags which I find are very useful to carry your phone, keys, etc if you don't want to carry a large bag or backpack to the gym.

Fashion clothes are like music: when a band becomes super mainstream and everybody is listening, the music stops being cool 😂 Because we follow trends so we can feel that we are updated and we fit with the community but we want to be unique at the same time. Amazing social study would be great with this subject. I will add chelsea boots to the list: some years ago, I saw a lot ot them on tik tok outfits. Now, it's kind of dead.

The fall off of Cole Buxton needs to be studied. Go 1-2 years back and on those tiktok street interviews it was everyone’s favourite brand, now it’s one of the most hated on brands in the fashion community.

I think sambas are gonna fall off a cliff come Spring/Summer. They exploded this year and now everyone and their mum is wearing them. We essentially had the AF1, Panda Dunk/550 and then the samba. Would be interesting to see what the main sneaker/shoe of next year will be.

I do think while Bostons and clogs aren’t a trend right now, for me they’re the perfect shoe to throw on in the Spring/Summer as well as for airports etc. So I’m not sure they’ll entirely disappear, it’s just that you won’t see people wearing the Primark dupes For Cole Buxton, the problem is that their quality has dropped off significantly from two years ago. They still have good pieces, but mass production and poor quality control has meant that they’re no better than a high street brand. It’s just very clever marketing keeping people interested

Disagree slightly on the bostons, I’ve been wearing mine a couple years now and i think I’ll always stick by them. I have noticed a lot of my friends who are less focused on fashion starting to wear them more. Perhaps its the saturation thats now making them feel ‘less fashionable’ or its just become accepted as more of a staple in peoples shoe rotation that they are not looked at as specifically ‘trendy’ footwear anymore

I totally disagree about the end of birds Boston... Might be a UK thing, travelling all over the world for a living. I see them everywhere in the US and Asia especially Thailand , Japan and Taiwan. from teens to grown ups . male of female.

cross body might be a down fad in the uk but rest of europe you see lots of them everywehre, spaceially the uniqlo one clogs birk you might not be seeing bc its too cold now oversized tee are still in, maybe bc so many layers in winter u dont see it as much it seems like you have a problem with a piece or trend being more mainstream
