2:55 I believe the rule in High Jumping is that where the bar falls off late it is a "no jump" if you are still on the mat whereas if you have left the mat and then it falls off it is a successful clearance, i.e. thought to be wind etc. not the jumper causing it to do that.

Some argue that the 110 meter hurdles for men and the 100 meter hurdles for women are more dangerous. Some of the field events other than the pole vault are quite dangerous for the officials and others.
