There were still many GT4 trams in regular service at these times.

You have plenty of footage from Stuttgart and the process of the conversion to Stadtbahn operation. Really interesting to watch, thank you for uploading.

Thanks! I guess you also have seen the videos from visits in 1984 and 1986?

@@tressteleg1 I allready did so... ;) In an earlyer video you showed the light railprototypes. There has been some work don to the 3006 car at the tram museum. You can read here at the blog of the historic tramclub if you're interested: shb-ev.com/2020/11/26/einsteigen-bitte-funktionsfaehige-tueren-fuer-wagen-3006/ . Its in german, but google translate does a fairly good job at translating it. :D You can find information and news on the other Projekts there too. Enjoy.

Thanks for that. Interesting action the way the doors open. Let’s hope that this summer Covid injections will get your life back to normal.

I worked in Stuttgart on secondment back in 2014 for a large car company and would get a tram every day to and from work from my hotel getting off at Maybachstrasse. Fun.

Near Olympic years ;-) Interesting already in 1989 the SSB acquired vehicles without folding steps. And the Zacke vehicles still with the original doors.

You are lucky to see this now. Somehow KZfaq published it early. It won’t be for general viewing for a few weeks. Anyway thanks for your comments.

It was not your fault at all. I have had trouble with uploading KZfaq lately.

Versteh nicht, was dagegen spricht!

I think that most operators find it too much trouble looking after the overhead wires. Systems continue to close here and there, including Moscow!!!
