We took the Marin Rift Zone 29" Carbon XR down Trestle's namesake, Trestle Downhill. This is a technical chunky choppy rocky double black diamond with a few drops that's really fun to hit over and over and discover better ways to get down the mountain. I'm no downhill expert, I'm on a trail bike with 140mm of front travel and 125 rear. However, it's still a blast to push my limits and my bike's limits and see what I can accomplish!

This is a great vid, you're basically showing all the smooth lines on TDH, a lot of the vids it's just on a DH bike and they're just monster trucking the whole thing.

I greatly appreciate that! That's definitely outside my wheelhouse. Taking my time and choosing safe lines are the only way I can make it down without going OTB haha

Thanks for watching these videos, too! Trestle is a rad place. Some people seem to bag on it. I've never been to any other downhill parks but I for one love it.

Love the trail, but I've never understood the double black rating on that trail. Nice riding.

I think so many of the trail ratings are location dependent. I've rode double blacks that I could see as blues, and blacks that I felt like were unridable to my skill. It's so hard to have a consistent rating. But hey at least I can say I've done some double blacks lol. Thank you!
