@@aquapiesworld this is her first independent/unsigned project bc she’d been in a legal battle with her old label for 3 years and it was finally settled and she announced in october that this upcoming project was going to be all her. this song and mv were the first. technically a lot of her old stuff was also self funded bc her label was treating her like shit and not paying (other artists also signed to the same label said the same thing about them) but this is 1000% her own money and creative direction all label-free.

Besides the beat going crazy and Meg riding it fr fr “not really a fan of female rappers to listen to on my own”, one dope aspect of this video is the tank scene…. Snakes feel vulnerable when they shed their skin and tend to go to an isolated place to let that happen.. She put people around her, taking pics, in that scene, while she’s shedding skin. To showcase she has to go through her stages publicly.. Idk, just thought that was a dope concept 🖤🤙 Imma be bumpin the fk outta this instrumental tho 🤣🤟

I actually have to say that the first shot with her “fighting” with the snake, pointing and saying her piece which was raw…it almost symbolises that the ppl doubting and hating are the “snakes”, take the note it was as if the snake on the branch was nodding/agreeing whilst “fighting back” i.e “backlash from the haters” but she’s fighting back…definitely coming back (her rebirth) and I’m so happy for her, she’s being her…this was amazing!

Im glad yall didnt get hard stuck on the cheating line.
