I know that this video is a couple of years old, but judging from the exchange it seems to be one sided. I could be wrong, but I didn't see Cole make a single post about Bauer on this exchange. Now, I do believe Gerrit Cole said this, but I'm sure that Bauer wasn't the first player that was told this and the fact that he is where he is now shows that he proved Cole wrong.

Cole decided to avoid the topic when asked about it. The only other first hand source on their relationship is from their UCLA head coach.

I'm a Red Sox fan. And from what i got when story was story got spread was Bauer was jealous since his old college teammate was all the sudden finally living up to the hype that-although he showed some flashes of in Pittsbrugh-he never really lived up to there. But if it is fact true- have no reason to doubt it-that Cole told the kid he had no future in MLB. Then i don't blame Bauer. There'd be no love-lost for the clown from me either. There are two sides to every story. But if this is true. I hope Cole falls flat on his face in post-season. Although must admit, if the tribe play Sox in October, I hope the same for Bauer. Just not as badly

Who? Bauer is weak? How about pitching for an organization that electronically cheated? Pitching for a team that you know would have a chance to have a lead. Actually, from the new reports, the Yankees cheated too. Who's weak again?
