@@AlexRoth-vd1js he lead the jags to the divisional round a year before and nearly beat the Super Bowl champion chiefs, when he was HEALTHY. Had the jags at 8-3 last year when healthy, he’s not a top 5 QB but he’s fringe top 10. There’s a lot of good QBs though

Everyone likes to say “oh he’s not as good as burrow” Burrow has missed almost half the season for two of his 4 seasons, and no one is questioning the contract he got. Yet, T law had arguably the worst rookie coaching staff of all time, an offensive line who gets bullied on every single play, and a defense who can’t stop a rundown Derrick Henry, yet TLaw is the problem and we shouldn’t pay him. I’m so happy to see the leadership recognizing the nuances of quarterback and not just taking stats into consideration.

I absolutely see that amazing potential that I know Trevor Lawrence have to be that QB to be able to get us to the superbowl, but it's not gonna be all him, it's gonna be everyone, to make smart plays, the LBs actually protecting Trevor instead of doing a very poor job on protecting him, we have what looks like amazing WRs, we have the CB that we needed to put in, we now have a defensive coach who's actually talking about things the defensive side never talked about due to bad former defensive coach so that's being fixed, yeah I'm definitely hopeful, it will be tough, but I'm still hopeful to see this team make those jaws drop and see this team make it all the way!

If the goal is a Super Bowl, objectively, it is worth it. He’s a top 10 QB without tapping into his potential. The majority of the “flaws” that people point to in his game have largely been the fault of others rather than himself. Objectively, we had the worst wide receiver core in the league last year (most dropped passes, Ridley running the wrong route often, unable to get the feet down, etc). Just because it’s a lot of money does not mean it’s inherently, “not worth it”. He’s the greatest quarterback this franchise has had since Mark, he deserves every penny of that money, because he eliminates the prospect of “what if we had a good quarterback”.
