I've been going to Trex for years and it's long been one of my favorite go-to's (along with Allaire) when we get a bunch of rain and everything else is too soggy to ride. I hadn't been since before COVID and was blown away by all the trail work they've done over there. They've added a really great (and easily lappable) progressive jump line built by ig: @dirtsculptllc and have tuned up and added features to all of their other trails. Trex is no longer a "get there when it's raining" type place, it's now a destination...as evidenced by the packed lot.
Im following Max from Philadelphia Bikesmith for this ride at sunrise on a brisk fall morning and conditions were perfect. Whether you've been before or not, I HIGHLY recommend getting over there ASAP as the fall conditions are tip top and every berm, jump and feature is dialed. A few laps of the jump trail and two laps of everything else (trust me you won't mind) will get you a nice 15 miler. There's also a perimeter trail called the Border Trail which is more XC oriented and is not featured in this video. All the trails are great, but Broken Arrow is probably my fave...it's exposed, fast and a blast from top to bottom. 10/10 would recommend
Here are the trails in the video:
0:26 - Half Pipe 1
2:37 - Half Pipe 2 aka Pooh's Woods
3:25 - Buck Run
4:39 - Return of Brian's (Jump trail)
5:45 - Broken Arrow
