I don't care how fanboyish this sounds, or obvious like maybe I'm preaching to the choir, but Trey is the best. He's the best ever. I know there are better technicians, even some more creative, but he's like a magician. His devotion to tone and atmosphere and his seemingly eternal childlike enthusiasm for music remind me why I wanted to pluck around like a mook on my own guitar. He was anointed a long time ago and he's lived up to his enthronement with grace and purpose. Legend.

This was like an early Christmas present. I think I was drooling as I watched. :/ So amazing to watch him effortlessly put together this little demo, building on each lick from the effect before, genuinely having fun and enjoying it as he went along, like a little kid.. smiling like a madman from time to time. I’d love to own his guitar and setup, but it wouldn’t make a difference in my hands and playing. This rig is designed for his creative genius and only he truly unlock its potential.. I’d just generate feedback, with maybe some sick ass echo. Thanks Trey, you made my night!

I grew up in New England listening to Phish. I wouldn't even call myself a "jam band" fan, but I've always considered Trey to be one of the most versatile guitarists I've ever heard. More impressive that he plays all this music with one guitar. Trey's ethos as a musician is something I've always admired.
