Yes. It's intriguing to think who will rise out of this crop, but I think Murphy and Alvarado are both likely future all-stars.

If they give him more opportunities, yes. In fact, they should consider moving CJ to the bench at some point in favor of Murphy. Also, he and Herb Jones are a NASTY defensive duo.

As much as people hate to say it we are contenders. We have the 2nd best record in the West without many of our key guys playing games. Trey has been a huge part of this.

Trey is lowkey an explosive dunker all of a sudden and its fun to watch. His quick release and shot angle is beautiful as well. He is a good defender too. We really drafted the best perimeter defender in Herb, the best shooter in Trey and the best undrafted in Jose last year, all there are so vital to our success.

Crazy how good the 2021 draft have been for us, heck, the 2022 draft have been looking reaaaaal nice too. Dyson’s a gem and ej liddell hasn’t even played one single minute due to injury.

you are right on point with Trey... dude is going to be really really good as his game continue to grow. his skill set is perfect for this pels team with zion and bi as ur gravity so shooters are going to have a field day on this team. i get why Boston and Golden state are favs to win it this year BUT if these very young pels could become more efficient at shooting, these dudes are going to shock the world. having a guy like JV and Zion to pound the box, after 2-3 games in a row, no matter whos guarding, that team will wear down as a series go on. teams will have to send help down low and that would leave guys like Trey, Jose, CJ, BI, Herb, and Graham on the outside licking their chops.

i think ziaire is going to be a stud and thrive in memphis, but trey was who i wanted them to pick at 17. even if he's not in memphis, i'm glad he's in a good environment and surrounded by great players

Love the video! TM3 is really underrated as of now, with him, Zion, BI, Herb Jones and even Dyson Daniels (it's still early but he's real solid) the Pels have one of the most impressive young core I've seen in recent NBA history... And we just became the 1st seed in the West for the first time since 08! Front Office and Willie Green are making great stuff

He is a hybrid of Ray Allen and Toront's Era Young T-Mac , he is the ultimate X factor! I love Brandon Ingram' and if Trey can work with Bi and mirror bi playmaking and adding a mid range, Trey a All-Star by age 24 ! Give him 2 more years and 2 more off-seasons for Trey to get his playmaking and dribbling and crossover effective moves and you guys have a Ray Allen prime T-Mac hybrid ! He had the height, Wing Soand and Bounce of T - Mac and the 3 point deep range Sniper of Ray Allen shot release time and accuasy !! Bruh , he was on the bench in his rookie year and is a legitimate SF 3 and SF ! Trey is the secret weapon ! He barley and rarely takes bad shots he is efficient at a such a young age ! Curious as to how their starting lineup will look in a year or two. Dyson-Herb-Ingram-Murphy-Zion is a sick squad, but who goes to the bench when you need someone to defend centers? Obviously I'm assuming Daniels becomes the PG of the future as CJ ages, I think Daniels will certainly be starter quality. Do they keep Valanciunas and send Herb to the bench? Murphy is better than Herb in 3pt scoring, but does that make up for Herb's defensive value when you have Zion and Ingram on the floor? It also depends on who they pick up in the next few drafts, but right now they have like 4 starting caliber forwards, and Daniels. I don't watch the Pels too much so forgive me if this comes off as ignorant. I just think they have some big questions to face regarding lineups - and with the quality of their players, that's not a bad thing.

As a Pelicans fan I agree with this good analysis of Trey but you neglected to state that he LEADS the Association in Free Throw percentage. The Pels are in second place in the West & the 4th best record in the league. This is with Ingram missing 8 games, Zion 5, CJ 4 & Herb Jonnes 6. The starters have only played 10 games together.

It's not a stretch just will take time. You can see Treys potential to be better than CJ one day. TM is better defender and 3 shooter than CJ. His drives are on par with cj. His assist, rebounding, and leadership should increase with age.
