Have you ever run across the possibility that maybe it isn't as simple as DOING because he signed a "contract" perhaps? This is the lifestyle he signed up for--- literally. I honestly don't see him having creative control at all. Unless granted through his boss lol Trey must go with the flow at this point, though he has more SOULLLLLL to offer... he may have already OFFERED HIS SOULLLLLL. #BARS

@@professorXcross not even that, it just boils down to sales. At the end of the day, he's got money to make. People are not buying pure soul music in bulk these days. Sure I too would love him to get back to his roots but I can't fault him for putting out music that he knows will sell. He still has a career to maintain. If people would actually support that kind of music again, you'd see more R&B artists making that kind of music again.
