Build looks fire just missing 7.5r front bumper

Might need silicon in the roof rail holes. Transporter T6 needs it as water gets in through the bolt holes, might be same for the caddy.

I put 8V S3 seats in my Caddy. Theres a guy on the Caddy forums who will make you a complete plug and play harness so the electrics, footwell lights and 3 stage heating work (will need to purchase a set of heating controls). Harness plugs into the factory fusebox and uses all OEM grounding points

Would be cool if you could change the front and rear badges to audi badges. You may need to do some 3d printing though

Great project, great video series! 11:50 The moment I realised how hard it will be to convert this to 4motion. Caddy and Transporter have the Hladex unit in front a the gearbox and a beefy rear axle instead of all other VAg cars which have the TT´s layout...

You should of used a heat gun and tried to mould that front part of the arch trim on the front bumper corners brooooo. None the less, you’ve smashed it again mate. Can’t wait for R36 upload too.

Love this build not a fan of the diamond cut wheels but not a bad look keep a bit of gap on the back arches like you say for loading etc

You need to swap the axle bolts the other way around they hit the chassis when you go lower than that buddy

@tr Hamza When I owned that van new I swapped the seats to A5 Sline leather heated seats I removed them before I part exchanged it back to Liverpool VW.

Not sure if the MQB platform steering wheel can communicate with a PQ platform, something to do with LINBUS language I believe.

The FL steering wheel with the alcantara is a pain. I'd swap mine for a perforated leather one any day.

Great video as always. Nice to see the work being done and makes me want to do something similar. The unit is amazing and the lift saves so much time and effort. Working on the ground is such a pain. The Caddy is superb, a real wolf - not in sheep’s clothing anymore! Stylish, up to date and appropriate. How about some black mastic to fill the gaps on the wheels arches?

@Stanthevwcaddyman is your go to! He makes harnesses for all types of VW conversions, did my seats in the caddy . Great quality on the parts aswell.

I have a similar steering wheel on my 2017~2018 Up! Move, but mine is leather, would fit nicely there 😉
