This was the first AB match I ever watched, I was 11! I remember watching rugby with my dad, but never happened to see NZ play until then, oh my God, I was hooked...!

I remember I was so little this day listening this game on the radio with my uncle at grandmother's house. I was so happy the Springboks won :-) 💯

Great game New Zealand are still the best team in the World. Just saying as a die hard Bok fan. Always an honor to play the AB and beat them at home. Boks still catching up after Isolation but one of the few teams who can go to NZ and win!

As a trained RFU ref feel I can disagree as a couch potatoe but if you have actually refereed a tough game please just understand that it’s impossible to get it right every time. I respect the referee every time because these guys give it 100% every game. I did. I have talked to captains after a game and said sorry but they all just said it’s OK. Off to the bar, beers on me. It’s the game we love so much. This is rugby not soccer. Despite all the junk you hear if you see a bunch of Kiwis and Saffas post game you will see the huge respect we have for each other. I wish I had the $ to go to New Zealand every year to fish for trout in their incredible rivers. Our rugby traditions are in our blood.

If you care about our nature and our rivers don't support the trout fishery. Trout a very destructive invasive species in this country spread purposefully by sports fishermen. Almost all native fish and amphibian species being out-competed and going extinct, industry lobbying too powerful to overcome because of the money made off of foreigners on trout fishing holidays

1:34:45 watch the call for 'holding on the ground' - Goddard gives a short arm free-kick, and the ABs get a line out. Horrificly wrong call for a ref on such a big stage. He basically made up a new rule / or didn't understand one of the most fundamental rules of the sport - that holding on = a penalty. Not venting anger at the ABs or NZ (cos the ref is Aus), just wishing to point out how horrific that reffing was, and how inept World Rugby have been at fixing this shit in the past

Hate seeing a guy like Ali leaving field. Clearly hurt. I know it’s a tough game but do not want to see someone hurt like that. Often it’s just bad luck of a collision. Great player.

@@rohanvangraan5663 Yes, but Boks struggled to a 2-1 home win against an awful Wales side (Wales even lost to Italy in the last Six Nations round). So, unless we see a big improvement from the Boks in the Rugby Tornament, it's pretty easy to infer that Ireland and France lead the world right now.

South African rugby wil never be the same again due to political interference. The government wil rather lose ever single and have n corrupt springbok team that is made out of black players that don't deserve to be there. And the quota system is downing the moral of the team.

yeah bro true, the quota system is unnecessary, look at how jake white and peter de villiers bought in black players based on merit, and turned them into legends, like habana. Boks need Johan Ackerman as coach and remove the quota system. Jantjies has the potential to be one of the best attacking 10's but he looks so shit under Coetzees useless gameplan

If NZ were restricted to players born and raised in NZ their whole lives, their win/loss record would be very different. The All Blacks are really the South Pacific All Star Team. South Africa is, well, actually South Africa.

Justin Marshall isn't so bad these days...Nisbett has always been like a bitter old man down the pub, 3 beers in and not filtering his thoughts. But I'd still take NZ commentators anyday over Aussie ones, or that Stuart Barnes prick from England
