Yes i have 1.0 account i had no problems but with my bows only acc., no chance. All Chars are to build no artifacts charing and enough weapons. It is realy account depandent.

This new endgame prevent you to always use meta team, and need to properly planning your teamcomp because of vigor. In short, the abyss is a dps check. The theater is a team and plan check. Finally a content that actually needs a functional brain👍👍👍

yes , keep in mind the same mats are needed to lv 80-90 as are needed to 40-80 maybe even more , so lv only carries and reaction based characters

Keep in mind that while you need 18 char to start a hard run, you will only use 16 of them (or 15 if you borrow a char from a friend), that means you can get away with having 3 char lvl 70 with no talent nor equipment and not use them during the run. Since the mode is pretty easy for most stage, you can sometimes use only 3 char in your team and have the 4th member be a dead weight. I'd recommend to try to get 18 char to lvl 70 first (one of them being the traveller since he can switch elements he will be always useful) and giving the mode a try, you might be able to clear even with a weak roster.

I also had only 14, and I got to 18 easily by firstly changing traveler to anemo and then since I have like 30 unbuilt characters at lvl 20 I could pretty easily lvl up 3 of them to lvl 70 in just 2 days. These past 2 days it helped to use the primogems from commisions to replenish 60 resin.

As someone who played since launch, I managed to immediately clear the entire thing with my very first try. I actually thought this was just another brain dead event, was just surprised with the 1,500 something primos rewarded and realized it was actually genshin's new endgame lmaooko

@@VrtielA6300 I've already gone through the theater twice, and both times I ended up using Venti as a Xiangling battery due to using Bennett up too early. He was incredibly useful here.

The rewards are hardly worth the resources wasted on characters or elements you don't like. Just give us back 2 monthly abyss reset and remove this mode

@@Lou-x4e this is more fun than abyss. Abyss is just increasing on enemy health bar and a dps check. This event needs a bit more strategy. You can clear this event even with sub optimal teams.

@@seraby7151 don't get me wrong, Abyss isn't fun, but this is just miserable. I don't get the amount of artificial scarcity implemented in this supposed new end game content. (ex. character usage limitation, timed combat, etc.) It's all fake difficulty.

This content has nothing to do with anyone's brain. You can not plan you team properly cause of random character pick, first of all. This mode simply forces you to play with pre-picked characters.

The Spiral Abyss is one of the most effective ways [for] players [to] test out their party composition and combat strength. If we design another type of permanent endgame that is similar to the Spiral Abyss, it might end up creating excessive anxiety for our players-not everyone is interested in Musk Reef

Also not every players interested in Cat's tail (TCG), what they did? Releasing another endgame that is more easier than spiral abyss😌 Well at this point, i can accept it and also gave up expecting to genshin to make a challenging endgame content. However i will still play the game just for fun and chill with friends, if i really wanted some immersive challenges/battles i would just login to WuWa. Both are still good games.

its more about general account investment tho, i easily 36* the abyss but struggled a bit on this new content cuz i dont invest in a lot of characters but rather make a few very strong

@@rokemm6551 that's true, in abyss, cons gives you more edge while in theathrum having more characters built benefits you more than cons themselves as you cant brute force using same characters over and over. Just my opinion though base on my experience

I also used all trial characters except my own Shinobu (EM build though, not optimal for this run). It was quite challenging with the trial characters but doable for full stars and flowers. Apparently it’s significantly easier for those using their own well-built characters 😂

I don't think the new mode is too hard, however it isn't a breeze either and that's actually worrisome to me. From looking at Spiral Abyss as well as HSR's endgame modes, Imagiarium Theater is guaranteed to become harder as time passes by. In one year, heck maybe even six months from now, how hard will it be? That's the part that worries. I don't like how RNG based it is (cards are, as far as I'm aware, RNG, as well as stages and characters you can get from bonus characters), or how you need a large cast of built characters to tackle this mode. Rogue-like modes can be fun but this one is most certainly not.

I'm so glad we don't need full stars to get full rewards Also I've built so many characters "just ok" because I like them, so this mode really is for me ahah, not too much of a dps check, just enough ok characters check~ (I realized I passed it with my Xiangling having NO artefacts so dunno if we even need good builds lol 💀)

I think my personal problem is that I only made it to the abyss chamber with a boss once and didn't survive it. My characters aren't built enough to fight bosses within a timer, when I farm them I usually go for teams that counter their element. I'm loving this game mode regardless! Is a lot more casual friendly than abyss. Gotta say though, the bond of life makes Arlecchino really annoying to play, so glad they made Clorinde heal herself with E instead..

Honestly when I first played this I didn’t know that you could take boons without moving past stages (i was a lil lazy and just skimmed the tutorial) So I just did all the challenge rooms right away, assuming they’d fill up my characters if I didn’t have any left and that more challenge rooms meant a better score, only when they forced me to get characters because I had none left I understood.

Imaginarium is not that stressful compared to abyss for me. just need the right amount of artifacts to distribute and a well planned team comp with proper lvl and talent. It's clearable. Played raiden as support with full EM artifacts and works well.

I think the best route is to get only characters until you have your full roster. That way you can use units that have synergies as early as possible. The buffs dont do much imo. You need to prepare a 2 teams for 2nd and 3d boss chambers. everything else is free win. does the bonus star matter in any way?

nah, I've first cleared with 7 instead of 8, and it gave me all the rewards anyway. It's just a bonus thing you can flex in your profile, no more than that xd

I only barely cleared act 8 on my main, since I don't want to change their builds they didn't do so well. On my alt I don't have enough characters so I can only do Normal mode. Kinda don't like the restriction TvT

Just pick your bad characters early on by choosing companion event. Make sure to use your strong chatacter last. For me, I try to make sure I don't use Arlecchino until 4-5 since she is strong even if she is a trial character. Then choose buffs. It should be quite easy after because I was like that's it? Lol (I had terrible characters btw except kazuha, xiangling)

my strat is to spam character events to expand the roster so i can use the bad characters at the beginning. then at the end you can just use the rest of your flowers to buy buffs

imo this end-game is really tough cuz you can only pick character that have specific elemental type and if you dont have amount characters you need you cant even play on hard mode. Funny part is that you can any elemental type in those challenges

I think the difficulty of Coppelius is overrated. Just get your Anemo traveler equipped with the ousia sword, smack its shield and be done with it.

So, I just literally cleared Hard Mode with 8 Challenge Stellas. On my phone too. Instead of all about the skillplays only. It's about the characters of you have. I'm so done from most negative comments about this new content from most of content creators. Nothing else but caring about rewards and META too much. Most player always turning this game into the actual PVP game as always... All about the speedrun racing while none would think about no addtional rewards for speedrunners.

Hoyo knows Genshin is slowly ending so the only way to make people spend on the game is hardcore powercreep. That's what this mode is for. It's gonna be harder and harder, more HP bloat here and Abyss and new characters will become mandatory.

@@ceritaminit6696 the theater is a character roster check as much as Abyss is a dps check. The planning is throwned up by absurd amounts of RNG and gatekeeping, the winning strategy seems to mostly be to carry early stages with 1 or at most 2 decent characters able to work on their own while the last slots are occupied by fillers, saving the strongest characters you have for the last. This is the only consistent strategy, for the rest the gamemode is a glorified randomizer. If you are having fun I'm happy for you, but saying this mode requires a brain is insulting for brains.

This game mode isnt fun after 2 runs, which is sad looking how fun SU is in hsr, a game of the same company .... Hope genshin find his way of repetible end game where i can try my different teams

SU was never fun for me personally. It just felt like a glorified cavern of corrosion that took as long if not longer than the abyss for a single run. Divergent U though made it fun by skipping to the boss.
