Trials of Mana - Roadmap to Easy Platinum (Full Guide)
How to easily platinum the game?
We need to finish the game 3 times as the final boss changes
depending on your protagonist.
The protagonist of the each playthrough in no order
- Angela/Duran (Mondoragon)
- Hawkeye/Riesz (Archdemon)
- Kevin/Charlotte (Dark Lich)
You can play the game on Beginner difficulty if you want.

My first playthrough:
Characters:
- Duran (Main), Kevin and Charlotte.
Focus on getting the 50 Li'l Cactus + pick up any chest you see
Collect all 50 Li'l Cactus: • Trials of Mana - All L...
Li'l Cactus in Jungle of Visions and Night Cavern: • Trials of Mana - Night... (Depending on the main characters you choose)
Note: Don't use any of the XP cookies and Lucre incense and
use the Item Seed as soon as possible to Max the Magic Pot
Finish the game!

My second playthrough:
NOTE: EQUIP THE 300% Love of Mana XP bonus
Characters:
- Hawkeye (Main), Riesz and Angela
Pay 5,000 Lucre for the Nitromyte
Keep opening chests as they will be visible on the map (Li'l Cactus)
Note: Don't use any of the XP cookies and Lucre incense and
use the Item Seed as soon as possible to Max the Magic Pot
Finish the game!

My third playthrough:
NOTE: EQUIP THE 300% Love of Mana XP bonus
Characters:
- Kevin(Main), Charlotte and Duran (Their levels will be the same)
You will have more than 500,000 Lucre automatically by now
Keep opening chests as they will be visible on the map (Li'l Cactus)
- Beat Anise on Hard
- Reach level 99 at least with one character (Anise's Stockade)
XP Farming Guide : • Trials of Mana - Ultim...
Now use the XP cookies when fighting the 9 bosses near the end
Also sell any duplicate item.

The best place to grind for XP is Anise's Stockade
You will have 300% Love of Mana XP bonus after finishing the
game at least once + 3x XP bonus from the Li'l Cactus.
MAKE SURE TO EQUIP IT!!

Do this at the end of playthrough 3 or when you are above lvl 80+
Black Rabite. Boss:
Can be found in these area depending on the main character of your playthrough
- Angela/Duran
pre-final dungeon is the Crystal Desert.
- Kevin/Charlotte
pre-final dungeon is the Jungle of Visions.
- Hawkeye/Riesz
pre-final dungeon is the Cave of Darkness.

So treasure hunter is cumulative then? Thanks for the guide. I just finished beating anise on hard in my second playthrough. First run was Reiz, Duran, Hawkeye. I didn’t get all the cactus locations though. This run was Kevin, Charlotte, Angela. Will use the cactus guide on my Keven Duran playthrough.

I just finish the first playthrough. Started a new game (second playthrough) with the team you mention. I had the pot max its back to zero. Had almost all the cats but one the one in larent (first playthrougt). When you said all that will carry over what are you implying. Nothing carried over from my first game.

@Giovanni Storiale what he "failed" to explain is. For you to get the "GAME PLUS" option is that you "NEED" to fight Anise and beat her. "After" you killed the the final boss in the game. I just did it. Very misleading.

I got my platinum around 60hrs. 70hrs to 100+ is just too much. psnprofiles also mentioned around 40hrs.

70 hours is too much I think, got platinum in 36 hours. Though I play the orig SNES game way back.

maybe thats why, spent a lot of time search for all lil cactus and treasure and each playthrough afterward took me around 12 hours. -MD

@@MuradZero yeah, got easier when I reached 35th Mark. 3rd playthrough is a breeze like on your video, as most of the characters are max levels and have their old equipment. It would be better and faster if you choose the same class as the previous playthrough as you can use the same high end equipment and save time of thinking what class to choose :D. Nice guide by the way.

Do the chests you open carry over into the second playthrough? Like what if I only get 150 chests in the first playthrough. Does that mean I only need 50 in the second?

Unfortunately it appears to be needed in one playthrough. The good news though is that is not overly difficult., I have over a hundred logged in my first run here and I just hitting the middle of the game. So no worries!
