We have a safe switch of Trevadant looking to draw the hardest counter for grass types out, giving it the best chance to close.
Running a double grass team, we will need a very hard check for flying fire and ice, so none other than the trusty steel pengui. Empoleon will lead the line.
Empoleon is a very high-risk, high reward pick in this summer cup meta as like many theme cups. Vigaroth is everywhere. The backline both resist counter making this a very strong function ABB that lands big booms here there and everywhere. Buckle up and enjoy the show.
