I agree pockets in pyjamas are essential. I used to think they were a bit pointless, but after having one pair with them, I could never go back. So handy! Love the colourway of the month.

Wow you have been busy. Everything I make seems to take me ages. Could be because I have so many WIPs on the go at once though. You always sound so mischievous when you whisper "I have some confessions"😂.Ilove the colours on the blanket. They are coming together really nicely. Jensen just gets cuter every podcast!!!

The coun with a wren on was a farthing, a quarter of a penny. In my kitchen, I still use imperial weights and an old weighing scale (I found them in a charity shop, unusually, there is also a metric set of wrights). They are very accurate and never need batteries. I used to go to Sainsbury in Bexhill with my Grandad and the whole place smelled of smoked ham. None of the meat was prepacked. It was sliced while you waited. Until recently, in Somerton (once the County town of Somerset), about 4 years ago, the town supermarket was still independent, it's owned by the CoOp now. When I visited, they sold most of their cold meats from the cold meat and cheese counter. We have lost many of these services from our big supermarkets now. When I worked in Brighton, also I yhd 1970's, there was a welknown coffee roasting shop on Cheapside. The item uou were looking at, that you were told was for removing husks, was not! It was the roaster, that was why the shop smelled of coffee. It may interest you to know that when I worked in Brighton, there was another small shop, also on Cheapside called The Body Shop. All the bottles were plastic, the same shape but different sizes, all could be refilled, unlike today!

Hi Ellie. Your jumper's coming along very nicely. I'm knitting the Penny by TinCanKnits which also has a lot of purling, but is in dk so should technically knit up quicker. I loved your Sewing Bee video and your pyjamas look great. I haven't sewn anything for a while. I have to sew on my dining room table and the thought of getting everything out and putting it away again puts me off. I think it's nice to have books for inspiration rather than continuously scrolling through our phones. I recently bought a punch needle kit and plan to try it out this weekend. Xxx

Love your videos, Ellie! Your daisy puff blanket is coming out so gorgeous! The blues, teals and greys are my colors and Sandra's pattern is just the perfect way to show them off. I know you're using scraps for yours- but would you consider dyeing and selling yarn in color packs a blanket- maybe as mini-skeins over a few months or a year? I'm fairly new at this and I don't have a stash of leftover yarn. I'd absolutely love it as a subscription. Take care & happy crafting!
