You guys are the best audience around. I am a retired Marine and wished one day I could meet you all in person. Learning about other people is a wonderful thing to do. I pray that God blesses you by keeping you happy and all your needs met. In the Marines, we have an expression and motto " Semper Fidelis " which is Latin for Always Faithful. Thank you for the priviledge of watching your reactions and listening to your opinions . May we all live in peace and love ! Your friend from America !

@Big Boody1000 But would the man making war for water choose making war for water or simply having the water? If he chooses water & peace, then he prefers peace does he not? His choice of war is the acknowledgement of a basic human need over a basic human desire.

The reason for no hair as well as facial hair is because when we have yo put on gas mask in case of a gas attack or ect, hair will cause little holes to be in the tight fit of the mask which could cause gas to get in, also because of having a uniformed look. Only in certain religious satiations could a airmen, marine, soldier, or sailor could have different hair or religious head were.

Some branches of the military allow a mustache. The other reason a military person could have short facial hair is due to a medical skin problem that causes sores if the hair is cut too short.

Pakistan was a part of India until 1947. India was a British colony until then, then gained independence, and Pakistan then split. The British were all over India, and English was spoken widely there. If you watch Indians today speaking, often they drift into whole sentences in English, an many words are English. Pakistan is no different. Isolated groups these days would speak less English, of course. But many words persist, especially if there are none as specific in the original languages.

I take these video's different I'm sure then most, I see this as we don't realize just how good our lives are in America. These men watching these videos..... I was just scrolling on KZfaq looking at Music videos. I saw these faces and I had to stop to see who are these interesting fellows and what are they watching. I watched these reaction videos of 2 Marine corp videos. The halftime of the football game and the Ritual changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was so interesting watching these "Tribal People" (Respect) looking at our culture and our rituals. Their comments were sharp and perceptive. I especially appreciated the fellow who pointed out that he hopes we make many many more of these videos for all to see and especially to use these guns for peaceful purposes. I am now a subscriber. And plan on supporting this content with a financial contribution. I would love to visit Pakistan and India. Dave Woosley. I'm on the east coast of the states. North Carolina. Peace

You should show the video of The Secret Drum Corps. Also the Royal Scots Dragon Guards playing Amazing Grace or Highland Cathedral. Or the end part of the Edinburgh military Tattoo.

You should show the Silent Drill Platoon performing in a High School. You can hear the pound of the gun way better, and it’s a little more entertaining.

I didn't know there was a silent drill platoon. So interesting to watch these men, who have practiced so much that they know all the moves by heart and don't need instruction on the field. I also didn't know that the bayonets were so heavy.

I may be overthinking things, but I thought Mukhtiar's comparison to Michael Jackson was actually rather profound. On the surface they may not seem like the same, but the core aspects of precision and practice and the result of honing the human body to perfection and fluidity of a machine are actually very similar. Nice observation.

So not to distract from the Marine core silent drill team but to explain the importance of the half time. Halftime allowed coaches to reevaluate their strategy, it allowed trainers to examine the players to check for signs of injuries. It allowed groundskeepers to check the condition of the playing surface. And it also allowed fans a chance to stand up and stretch, relieve themselves or get something to eat or drink without missing the game. The halftime showed provided a distraction to those who remained in their seats and just gave a break from the routine of the game. Nearly every sporting event in the US has such a thing. In Baseball it’s the seventh inning stretch, in the world of professional wrestling it’s called the Popcorn Match. It’s usually when a silly match with some sort of absurd gimmick is scheduled just to break the tension and allow for a change of pace. It’s called a “popcorn match” because it’s the perfect time for a serious and purist fan to get up and get a bag of popcorn

I am honored by these gentlemens statements. I did silent drill for 3 years. There really is no commands given and no signals. We know what to do by listening to the clicks from the rifles. Also from thousands and thousands of hours of training and practice. Thank you again for your kind words. They will not be forgotten. Please consider me a friend from all the way in Ohio, America. I wish you all good health. Peace be with you.

That Michael Jackson joke was good! Got a chuckle out of it. Of course it'd seem like an MJ video because these men are BAD! The quiet professionalism and incredible discipline is amazing. Marines and soldiers (in most units) keep their hair high and tight as we say. Special Operations units can grow their hair to blend in with locals during missions but when at home they usually keep it short. And Marines don't like being called soldiers. Just a little note. And American Football is nothing like European football as you pointed out. Our word for it is soccer (although football is a more appropriate term for the game.). Love these videos. Keep em coming!
