Oh how I loved how Tahir described the gentlemanly potato, and told the story of how the okra protested, and a rowdy battle broke out between the other vegetables and then how some brinjals were thrown the slammer and bailed out by the radishes. He is such a witty and clever storyteller! 🤣🥕🥔🍅🍆🧅🤛

YESSS, I thought the same thing. This needs to be done each episode bc they seemed very much to enjoy it seeing the similarities in our cooking styles as well as what's vastly different. Even though the clam shucking was not shown. Also, why did they keep calling clams maggots? You should show them what we consider maggots or simply tell them maggots in America are the name for the larval insect laid by flies on carrion.

I just love these men. They seem have the most beautiful and gentle personalities. Mr. Tahir is definitely the comedian and a great story teller. Everything cures a cough, and the vegetable battle made me laugh out loud. 😄. Mr. Chaudhary has an excitement about himself to try new things, and his wonder is like that that of a child being shown something he has never seen or experienced before. it is wonderful to see his joy. I love his facial expressions with the enjoyment of the food. Mr Rana doesn’t know it but he is a poet. He expresses what he is experiencing with beautiful words. Mr. Baloch, well, he is just wise. he enjoys what he tastes. He just reminds of the person you would go to for advice and words of wisdom. I love the cream based one. I cant eat the red clam chowder as it is too acidic but the creamy one is GLORIOUS. Also as many soups there are many different versions of it. I have never had one with carrots and greens like this one. I'm an Alaskan and we tend to put a LOT of emphasis on the sea food in it. Potatoes however are in all the recipes I have seen. We sometimes put corn into too. Also so it is most often a CREAM based soup. Milk is not thick enough to carry the ingredients

I believe chowder comes from an old fishing vessel tradition to have a pot of hearty soup brewing, and they just keep adding to it as they eat and work. More fish/shellfish, more liquid, more veggies. And by the end of the trip they have this thick, concentrated stew. That's what modern day chowders try to replicate.

This popped up after 2 months. I don't get notifications for stuff very often. Let me explain for those telling me I'm wrong, etc, etc. I once thought I saw a video by them where they say they don't eat shellfish. Usually when they say that, it's for religious reasons for most people. Such as how pork isn't eaten or in places cows aren't eaten. One person said I'm presuming and yes I am because they haven't confirmed it one way or the other as far as I know. I don't know if they did. I haven't seen a video on it yet. And don't harrange me for assuming something. I'm not the only person who has assumed something at one time or another. We are all guilty of doing that about something at one time or another. Frankly speaking, who cares? Such a stupid thing to be upset about that you'd call me on it. Also if I'm wrong about them not being able to eat shellfish then fine. I'm wrong. I don't know because I'm not part of their culture or beliefs. How am I supposed to know? Without the proper information I can only presume on what little information I have. Btw, I don't presume to know what they believe either.
