Father has a cell phone, watch all the cakes being built on KZfaq etc Why leave home for cake education ...do it with the phone each day make one and sell them to your neighbours. Look after the family with the proceeds of your success.

It is a steady profession and important to learn bread making, too. People always need bread. My grandfather was able to find work always as a baker, even when he knew no English.

It's only when we discovered wheat that mankind was able to store food for future use and finally be able devote time to building infrastructure and developing society. It all started with bread!

Get well soon, have lots of hot lemon, honey ginger tea, drink lots of pineapple juice its anti-inflammatory and rich in vitamin c. I gave these to my son when he had covid and he recovered quick. We also use when anyone gets cold or flu. And vitamin D . Take care

you can tell that whomever baked that cake did an excellent job. red velvet cake is a very difficult cake to get right, unless you are very skilled. the look on the men's faces at their first bites said everything i needed to know about how good the cake was.

It really is a challenge! Most people go too far with the red coloring and just make it gross and super heavy. I'll be that touch of lightening up the icing was a perfect compliment to that rich flavor.

Recipe for Haseeb- Basic sponge cake - 25g softened butter 225g golden caster sugar 4 large eggs ½ lemon, zested 1 tsp vanilla extract 225g self-raising flour splash of milk beat the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Crack the eggs in one at a time and whisk well, scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition. Add the lemon zest, vanilla, flour, milk and a pinch of salt. Whisk until just combined then divide the mixture between the two tins.Bake in the centre of the oven for 25-30 mins until a skewer inserted into the middle of each cake comes out clean. After 10 mins remove the cakes from their tins and leave to cool completely on a wire rack. Fill how you like. My personal favourite is a good dollop of lemon curd and some fresh cream, then dust the top with icing sugar. Will keep for 3 days. Cut cake into layers ( using a cord ) and the fill or add icing to each layer before you restack them SOOOOOOOO GOOD

I made one once in my life. Followed the recipe, made sure I didn’t skip a step or ingredient. When my daughter went to spend the weekend with her dad, she took a slice with her. When she came back, I asked how did it taste and she said her dad ate it.

Or slightly minty icing. Either one. I have tried combining a cream-cheese icing with mint, and it was, well, 'lost' among all the flavors. I might like to try a coconut icing. Say - one icing between two layers, another icing between others... would a third on top be overdoing it? Hmmm... sounds like a "gotta try!" issue.

There is a cake that we eat here in Honduras Central America called "Tres Leches" (Three Milks) made from three types of milk: whole cream milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk 🥛 🍰

We have Tres Leches in the US as well - at least in the Southern states like Texas that border Mexico! It's one of my favorite cakes. I usually don't like cake, because it's too dry and overly sweet to me. Tres leches is perfect!

My Big Brothers (and sisters when included), though I'm not a big dessert fan, this was great! I went from rejecting my mother's/grandmother's red velvet cakes to marrying a woman who makes them for a living/side business. I enjoy your videos so much!! I honestly look forward to your reactions daily! To watch you not only experience things that I was raised with and are "staples" of my birth & cultural upbringing, I enjoy & appreciate your heartfelt/honest and respectful reactions. I'd love if we could introduce each other to specific foods and cultural differences that's not on KZfaq. I really wish I could visit you ALL!

I love always getting those “image far from home. Snowy mtns with tea and this cake” I love the imagination and I love the humble amd honest reviews. Like hearing it from a child the honesty and Innocence. It’s a blessing to see a grown adult experience new things. That in itself is what makes this series. After 30 in America we are jaded and desensitized and nothing surprises. It’s beautiful to see it

My dad's aunt baked cakes to make money after her no good husband abandoned her.Red Velvet was a customer favorite.She and my grandmother (her sister)were very talented at baking.Flour for very fine cakes comes from a special wheat that is not the same as regular bread flour,that's how it is so soft.

Everyone looked like they were in heaven the whole video. I surely would have been. I'm not huge on sweets, but I could devour a whole red velvet cake without even realizing it.
