I am lebanese and i follow this channel so i was ecstatic to find you making a video about lebanese food . Having said that, i have several comments about the video : 1- the first Kibbe dish doesnt look like the kibbe we do. It has a strange look. Plus we never serve kibbe with ketchup. 2- we never serve falafel with ketchup. Falafel is served with tahina sauce and eaten with lebanese bread. 3- it seems you cant find lebanese bread in Pakistan as the bread used for the shawarma is not the kind we use in Lebanon. As for the ingredient i couldnt tell if the sauce was the tahina sauce used in lebanon or other kind of sauces usually used in different countries that serves shawarma which makes the taste way different from the Lebanese shawarma. 4- hummus is Lebanese . Dont let anyone tell you otherwise. Its usually eaten with lebanese bread and not a spoon. 5-its weird to mention that we have a big community of skateboarders as i a lebanese never heard about this fact in all my life living in the country. Great channel. Keep up the good work!!!

They are slowly turning into Americans because of all the hamburgers they eat. They learned about ketchup that way and apparently like it as much as Americans (putting it on everything)😂 The bread they used is probably a matter of choice. They have many more flat breads than you have in Lebanon and pita bread is not that difficult to make yourself. Many of their breads are more or less equal to that. The earliest mention of hummus is Syrian by the Aleppine historian Ibn al-Adeem. So it's neither Lebanese nor Israeli in origin. So that's a fight you can lay to rest. The word does seem to have an Aramaic origin, which does make it semitic.

@@telebubba5527 Hummus is lebanese of origin even syrians acknowledge that but lebanon as a country is recent . In the past all this region was called “bilad al cham” or syria.

I LOVE kibbeh! My grandfather used to make it from scratch and eat the raw meat as he was making it. When we lived in Iran for awhile he and my grandmother came to visit and he ended up shipping home a beautiful morter and pestle. My parents bought one also. I remember my mother soaking the cracked wheat and then seeing my father founding the soaked wheat into a paste and then pounding the meat into it. Mom would make up dozens of Kibbeh for frying and then also make a tray of baked Kibbeh. She would serve it with gallons of home made hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush, kaak and a nice maamoul for dessert.
