Tribit Maxsound Plus & Tribit Stormbox - Sound comparison

Extra bass enabled for both speakers. Volume was at 40% for the Maxsound Plus and at 60% for the Stormbox, and the Maxsound was still louder. That's because of the driver placement of the speakers, the Maxsound has a directional sound, while the Stormbox has a 360° sound. Thanks for watching!

I first bought the maxsound plus. The sound quality is good but for outdoor use I feel was not loud enough so I bought the stormbox and wow the volume is loud enough to use outdoors. Best bang for the buck.

Listening on maxsound plus. It's true that it'ws not too loud outdoors. But it sounded balanced indoors, which is what I liked.

@@drsbiswas 4-6 hours with continuous usage, with X-Bass turned on. 20 hours is claimed but that is probably with X-Bass off and about 40% volume.

Bass is almost the same (same drivers). The main difference is the driver placement

I prefer the Stormbox. I like its 360° sound and it has a smoother sound. The Maxsound has better highs and a higher volume, and if you want to spend a bit less, the Maxsound is a great choice. But Stormbox is a bit better :P

You cant just compare those two, stormbox has 360° sound, while maxsound is front firing sound. You may try it in a distance in an empty room 😀

Storm box is smoother , maxsound feel more bassy

Yeah StormBox has a smoother sound and it's tuned to have more mid range. MaxSound has a tighter sound with better highs and slightly better bass. It has a higher volume too. But i still prefer the StormBox because of its smoother sound and because it feels more balanced

I don't think maxsound has a higher volume its just the thing that is a directional speaker so it sounds more louder and Tribit actually full fills the room with 360 sound In real life listening i don't thing maxsound will appear more louder
