if the uboom x can do perfectly what a mid-size speaker like the motion 300 or the Earfun uboom L can do and matches and surpasses those of similar size and even more so it rubs shoulders with studio speakers given its perfect definition and balance at any volume level. We could say that this is the ultimate speaker for all listening levels and sizes.

Appreciate all the hard work. I'd love to see an updated video of the uboom L once the app allows eq. I'd be willing to pay for eq settings similar to what will be offered on uboom X. I hope this will be a success for you and show earfun the benefits of colab and hopefully allow you more creative control in a uboom L or X2 and take your recommendations on hardware as well. I'm sure you've amassed opinions on designs of speakers from all the reviews you've done.

I don't think anybody has ever seriously claimed that this speaker isn't going to be worth it's price. Some people really like the Tribit stormbox blast though because it has performed really well for them, and if they already own one, there is no need to buy a new one which barely has any upgrades attached to it. For me it's the motion boom plus, and since I own it, I don't really need to go ahead and buy a new one. Of course I don't want somebody to go ahead and belittle the very same speaker he has previously claimed to be good. (fact-checked through past videos) However, one thing that comes off as ingenuine is that you currently mock every other speaker ever mentioned, which does sound rather promotional rather than impartial - the one thing that makes a review channel good. No doubt this speaker can be better than other alternatives. But I prefer a more comparative approach, rather than belittling other variants. Though I do miss the thumping bass from the Partybox 100 video. I mean that speaker held it's ground against the Partybox 100 bass-wise on outdoor mode, where is that deep, crushing sound in this video on insane mode? I mean to be fair in this video, it doesn't sound like the Uboom X is playing behind me as opposed to the vs PB100 video.

Before I continue, I just want to say that you're doing a stellar job with the tuning! However... When I figured out the truth of the following statement, it kinda broke me as a blind guy and a sound lover. People listen with their eyes. That is likely the source of so much of the hate that's toward you. People just like the industrial design of the JBL and Bose, as well as the cachet of these brands. Sound is irrelevant other than bass to mass market appeal. Yes, the Earfun absolutely blows everything else away there and I am likely going to buy one for a buddy - I don't need a Bluetooth speaker myself, I have a sonos Move. I hope that one day, Earfun will come out with some really sexy exterior design that goes viral while also having your tuning.

Stormbox blast can be tuned too, for a better experience, but.. in this comparison Uboom sounds sooo good... i have stormbox and i think she sounds so good.... cant believe uboom can be better.!!! Wow!

This Uboom X is impressive, considering its size, it is very powerful. Fixed Tribit's defect in midrange loss by 100%In addition, it achieved stronger upperbass, I believe that the Tribit does not reach these basses because it has a soft cone, they are better for deepbass. That's why I believe that in closed areas they will do better. I correct the Tribit with external EQ, it helps a lot.

Can you test Brane X smart speaker? Supposedly it uses new speaker tech to create massive bass in a small form factor? I don't see many reviews on it.

Excellent review Oluv. Always enjoy these insights in these products, though I'm not that much into large BT speakers anymore.. I'm down for new content with proper comparisons with new tech, and the serene areas you film in (looks beautiful). Recently got the Stormbox Micro 2 and its awesome. And yeah the audio community for blutooth speakers can be very toxic, best to avoid the nasty commenters. Not worth your time.

To be honest, when OLuv recommended a speaker, it always brought the level up and sounded pretty good. I now have a Tribit Maxsound Plus at home, then I had a Soundcore Motion Boom 2 years ago. Somehow the Anker didn't sound very good, even though I applied a custom EQ to it. Now I have Dockin D fine Plus. I also compared it against the Motion Boom and the anchor was a disappointment. The Dockin goes 14 hours on a single charge at half volume. The Motion Boom, with its own EQ, lasted a maximum of 8-9 hours at the same level of half the volume of the Dockin. + Let's add that I felt the Dockin sounded even better. Somehow, the presence of the tweeter greatly improved the sound quality. In any case, you can compare speakers based on the price, but the size category. a 5 kg speaker, which is much bigger, naturally beats a 2 kg speaker. It is much more interesting if a loudspeaker competes in its own size category.

The people giving you hate, are fanboys who can't deal with their own reality, that is a bad product, from their ever so holly JBL. I really like what I have been seeing of Earfun on your channel, especially the new one with the new sound tuning you are doing. Having said that, it would be nice if they did have a large party sized version of their speaker though, for those who like to party talk loud, but you can still hear the speaker. I'm also sorry to hear how you have been treated by Amazon, Jeff Beezo's really is a complete sh**bag, thats the honest truth.

Last time people took issue with the fact that you drastically switched your opinion on the speakers you were comparing it with. Good to hear you haven't switched your opinion about the Tribit. Its a still a very good speaker, but the Earfun might sound better :)

Both the UBoom X and Tribit Stormbox blast sound good but the UBoom X sounds well balanced with Jumbo Bass. The insane tuning is ok but the xxx tuning is for ppl who like upper bass.. not a fan of upper bass. I like the indoor tuning of UBX with that muscular bass and also the tuning in the beginning of this video.

I would like the high hats a tiny bit more softer in uboom other than that it's nice

Great Stuff. I have a idea for you Oluv, if you read this ever. I know you have been working very hard on this U boom X and are probably sick and tired of tuning it constantly. So here is my idea for you and for earfun (not related to this particular speaker sorry), if you would be interested could you team up to make the ultimate budget pocket size hifi-ish speaker, i am thinking like a mix between vifa tweeter sweetness and mids, and minirig like low bass extension, with indoor/outdoor modes (indoor would be max bass extension say to 50hz or if possible even slightly lower, but lower volume, outdoor less but louder volume.) and throw dynamic bass adjustment in the mix for low volume listening. If this ever happened, i would be the first to buy this, just an idea though, as i have a tribit micro 1, and looking for a serious quality upgrade, but dont want the tribit micro 2, the minirig and vifa are sadly too expensive for me. Tribit sounds much nicer than uboom, uboom just hits you in the face with sound, it’s already unpleasant. Tribit has a soft, clear sound and all instruments can be heard equally well. I personally would choose Tribit. Uboom just yells at you.

Everybody hears differently. I don’t like either of these speakers’ sound. Earfun is too harsh in the mid tones. Tribit is too soft in the mid tones. I do own other Tribit speakers as well as half a dozen other brands mostly for indoor environments. For an outdoor speaker, Aiwa Exos 9 is still my favorite. I EQ to my liking. Not one speaker will be perfect for all

all of this speaker are just copy of JBL boombox, yea they are good for price in specific country, in my country Trbit stormbox start from 250 euros on black market(no official dealer) and i live in Europe, i see someone say stormbox can found for 159$ which is 150 euros, thats a fucking good deal, but JBL party box 110 start from 320 euro on sale on official dealership, i must be complete idiot to buy Tribit stormbox before JBL partybox speaker for this price and buyer conditions .. UBoom speaker even dosent exist, no official dilership in my country, on black market have some models and are 20-30% more expensive then in Other country and have same price like JBl in official store, sooo, this speaker is good for a price, is better then JBl for same price, just big NO.. and i am not fucking FUN or what you want to say..
