Where can I read about it. That would mean the soviet Union was the only victorious power in ww2 that punished their own war crimes. I always expected the soviet government to tolerate any misdemeanor due to the enormous civilian casualties they suffered during the german invasion.

Anyone with any knowledge of the history of the Second World War cannot fail to notice that all the main events of that war took place on the Soviet-German front, that it was the Soviet Union and the Red Army that in the course of three-and-a-half long years fought one -to -one against the gigantic military machine of the fascist bloc, bled it white and then finally crushed Hitler's Germany. The Soviet people were the principle creators of this victory.

Сталина в области военной науки, в вопросах оперативного и ｃтратегического искусства. Выше я уже говорил, что тогда, когда мне доводилось бывать в Палитбюро илилично у И.В. Сталина, рассматривались главным образом организационные, мобилизационные и материально-технические вопросы. Могу только еще раз сказать, что И.В. Сталин и до войны много занимался вопросами вооружения и боевой техники. Он часто вызывал к себе главных авиационных, артиллерийских и танковых конструкторов и подробно расспрашивал их о деталях конструрования этих видов боевой техники у нас и за рубежом. Надо отдать ему должное, он неплохо разбирался в качествах основных видов вооружения. От главных конструкторов, директоров военных заводов, многих из которых он , лично, И.В. Сталин требовал производства образцов самолетов, танков, артиллерии и другой важнейшей техники в установленные сроки и таким образом, чтобы они по качеству были не только на уровне зарубежных, но и превосходили их. Без одобрения И.В. Сталина, как я уже говорил, ни один образец вооружения не принимался и не снимался. С одной стороны, это ущемляло инициативу наркома оаорон,, и его заместителей, ведавших вопросами вооружения Красной Армии. Однако, с другой стороны, следует признать, что такой порядок во многих случаях помогал быстро внедрять в производство тот или иной новый образец боевой техники. Меня часто спрашивают, действительно ли И.В. Сталин являлся выдаощимся во енным мыслителем в области строительства вооруженных сил и знатоком оперативно. стратегических вопросов? Могу твердо сказать, что И.В. Сталин владел основными принципами оргашзаццц фронтовых операций и операций групп фронтов и руководил ими со знанием дела, хорошо разбирался в больших стратегических вопросах. Эти способности И.В. Сталинц, как Верховного Главнокомандующего, особенно раскрылись начиная со Ггалинградской битвы. Получившая распространение версия о том, что Верховный Главнокомандующего изучал обстановку и принимал решения по глобусу, не соответствует дайствительностй Конечно, он не работал с картами тактического предназначения, да это ему и не иужно было. Но в оперативных картах с обстановкой, нанесенной на них, он разбирался неплохо. В руководстве вооруженной борьбой в целом И.В. Сталину помогали его природны ум, опыт политического руководства, богатая интуиция, широкая осведомленность. Он умел найти главное звено в стратегической обстановке и, ухватившись за него, оказать противодействие врагу, провести ту или иную наступательную операцию. Насомненно он был достойным Верховным Главнокомандующим. Конечно, И.В. Сталин не вникал во всю ту сумму вопросов, над которой приходило с кропотливо работать войскам и командованию всех степеней, чтобы хорошо подгодсговитъ операцию армии, фронта или группы фронтов. Верховному Главнокомандующему зто было и не обязательно. В таких случаях он, естественно, советовался с членами Ставки, Генштабом и специалистами по артиллерии, бронетанковым, ймнио-воздушным и военно-морским силам, по вопросам обеспечения тыла и снабжения... Заслуго И.В. Сталина здесь состоит в том, что он быстро и правильно воспринималъ военных специалистов, дополнял и развивал их и в обобщенном виде - в инструкциях, директивах и наставлениях - незамедлительно передавал в войска для практческого руководства. Кроме того, в обеспечении операций, создании стратегических резервов, в организации производства боевой техники и вообще в создании всего необходимого для ведения войны Верховный Главнокомандующий, прямо скажу, проявил себя выдающимся организатором. И будет несправедливо, если мы не отдадим ему в этом должное.

O, de otro modo, la “Madre Rusia” hubiera desaparecido del mapa. Stalin fue lo que tenía qué ser: Un Gran Líder. Un Gran Estadista. Stalin heredó un país yermo, rural, preterido, analfabeta, hambriento, supersticioso, deprimido, carente de todo y, para colmo, delirantemente desamparado. Rusia era entonces, un país de “Siervos” (Esclavos), y Stalin lo convirtió en una súper potencia industrializada y poderosa, que puso a temblar al mundo. Rusia estaba atrasada en 100 años con respecto a Occidente y, superadas las precariedades y todas las devastaciones que causó la Guerra, él, Stalin, el “Fundador de la URSS”, puso en marcha el primer Programa Aero-Espacial del mundo. Seis años después (1957), lanzaron el Sputnik I. Stalin recibió una Rusia que estuvo en guerra casi 30 años. (Empezando con la humillante derrota frente al Imperio de Japón, 1904-1905. Revolución Rusa, 1905. WWI, 1914-1918. Revolución Bolchevique 1917-1922. Guerra Civil contra los “Rusos Blancos”, 1922-1927. Joseph Stalin, fue nominado DOS veces al Premio Nobel de la Paz (en 1945 y 1948), con el apoyo de múltiples instituciones universitarias de Reino Unido, Francia, Italia, Suiza, Bélgica, y Grecia. Esas nominaciones fueron tomadas en serio por el Comité en Oslo. A él se le acabó su tiempo a los 75 años.
