Is not up to the hair stylists, that's a decision from the directors, since they are responsible for all the expenses. Turned out it got more expensive for them that it should if they started with the wig since day 1.

She wasn't forced at all she could have quit the job and gone and work somewhere else. It's actually the complete opposite of forcing someone if I'm going to pay you to do XY or Z and you say yes I don't see the forcefulness there and hand over their medical records to their employer then they're going to lose their job only covid medical records the employer is allowed to have he can't ask you if you're pregnant he can't ask you if you have cancer he can't ask you if you have AIDS but they can't ask you if you got a covid vaccine now that would be considered forced

I mean…I get the initial investment in the wig…plus upkeep, certainly pricey…but is it less expensive (over the long term) to keep dying and damaging their real hair like that, particularly if they’re gonna *have* to invest in the wig ultimately anyways as a consequence of their choice to aggressively bleach the actors real hair over and over 🤷🏽‍♀️🫣

Loved this episode, and horrified at what Tricia was forced to endure so producers could save money. Seriously spending 10k to ensure someone can Safely do their job without having their frackin hair fall out seems like a no brainer to me

I think BSG is totally a cautionary tale. I really see how this could happen. AI's could evolve to the point of seeing that the true danger to the planet is us. The only logical thing would be to get rid of the humans. Cautionary tale, totally possible.

Outrageous that an industry which promotes ‘fantastic’ aesthetics, would actively destroy that which they creatively pursue… …wigs - as Margot Robbie understood - are a health & safety ‘redline’. If an industry cannot self-regulate, then it forfeits the liberty to operate otherwise. Where’s the gain in unknowing a success which one wishes to know?

A good wig is $500. Companies charge white women ridiculous prices for wigs because they don't know any better/not informed. Companies will have 2 websites, one marketed to Black women, another marketed to White women. The SAME EXACT wig will be $500 on the site w/ Black models and $5k on the one w/ white models.

Damn hair just fell off of her scalp ouch my own hair as a six or seven year old was literally platinum blonde then sadly by the time I turned 14 it had gone dish water dark blonde one day my mother snapped and introduced me to hair bleach having that concoction in your scalp for 30 plus mins is unpleasant to say the least ugh😂
