Thanks for the video man! I wish you would have shown the night shots of the emblem farther away! like so we can see what the entire front end of the truck looks like with the headlights and all on at night time! Also too, if i get the color changing version of this can i wire it the same way you did here? And do you just put that cable down inside that fuse or how exactly do you wire it into the fuse box?

Hey there that was a great video!!! I’m from Aus and bought one for my Ram over here. I’m guessing the fuse box might be the same but could you help me out with wiring it up with timer ect for what goes where I’m a little mechanical minder but love watching these types of videos so I can save money and do it myself, coz it’s so much fun… just need some help… I’ll try and see if I can find another video to watch but this one is the first I’ve seen for the Ram love it

I never got around to wiring the timer relay up. I just did an add-a-fuse on the fuse box that turns on when the truck starts. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for replying. I have one question. The emblem your detail is by X-Lume. It is currently about $218 and needs to be cut into the grill. I found a similar one that apparently is not much thicker than the original and supposedly after removing the stock emblem can just be put right in the same space with the 3M tape it has on the back. Yes, it too is LED illuminated. I'll give you the link it is only $79 and is made by Autogem. Do you know why the X-Lume is so much thicker? Is it because there are more electronics inside? What do you know about or think about the Autogem one?How has your emblem held up? is it still working? Any flaking of the paint on it? Autogem also makes a red brake emblem for the back of the truck and is also just remove and replace. Of course you must wire it in. Unfortunately I can't edit the video after it is posted. There are many options for 12VDC relay that act as timers on eBay/Amazon. They typically get wired to 12VDC constant with a trigger (when ignition is turned on) that activates the relay. Then the relay can be adjusted/programmed to stay latched/on for however long you want the light to stay on after the car is turned off.

I plugged it into the fuse box to a terminal that is active when I start the car.

Doing it installed holds the grill in place and allows it to be more precise was my thoughts.

Not that I have seen. I would contact the company that made this and ask. Many things Dodge makes is somewhat interchangeable and this may fit.
