I believe Garett zima (if that’s how you spell his name) one of the main people for this project said something about the manufactures getting the hair wrong when they ask for specific lengths so they just ordered them with more than enough length so it can be customized by the customers to their liking

Plus the sweater is more screen accurate due to the size of the stripes. The only thing I don’t like is the hair but you can replace it.

The hair was actually requested by tots to be longer from the factory so that the customer can give it a haircut because people complained when they got the $500 that the hair was short and uneven

I got mine two days earlier but it felt wrong because I wanted to see your review first and then take in all the amazing details. i’m so happy we got it early!! I went onto the website and the dates had changed and I got so scared but hopefully the ultimate comes soon or on the exact supposed release date.

It seems decent for 200. The quality on the overalls is way more generic than the 500 dollar one. It seems like a lightweight material as opposed to legit corduroy. Great review. Glad tots made an affordable version so more people can own one

I’m so glad you got yours before me because I really wanted to see this review. I didn’t even know mine was on its way until today when I got an email from UPS telling me that it’ll be here tomorrow!!! I’ve been waiting for 34 years to have my own Good Guy Doll. And now I have one of my own. I’m beyond excited about this!!! I even ordered the voice box for the doll too lol.

For $200 this is not bad. Given it's mass produced I agree things like having the long hair isn't a bad thing. Details like taking the time to trim and style the hair is something done more with hand made independent replicas. There's no way to do that with hundreds or thousands of dolls in mass production. If you look at it from a business standpoint it would hold up production and they would not be able to meet deadlines that is already a difficult thing for these companies as it is given the many delays these companies have had with their products.
