I absolutely love Spooky Villages! I used to have a collection, but I sold it all in 2015, after I introduced a Husky puppy to our household. I just didn’t have room anymore. I had Octo-squeeze, Wild Pumpkin ride, Last House on the Left, the clock tower, the high school, the saloon, and many accessories. My favorite was the Last House on the Left and the clock tower. I just love the black lights and flashing lights with thunder sounds. If I ever get rich, I’m going to have a big house with a special room to set up another Spooky Town and a Christmas village during the holidays. A man can dream, huh lol. You have a wonderful display. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Wow I really love this display! Every time I thought I liked a building the best you would show another one that I loved too! I think every piece displayed is so special and is so perfect for your scene. I love that haunted treehouse omg! So cool. I cannot wait to get more pieces. I love my Lemax Casino so much I think I’m going to do a monster based village and have no humans... maybe. That’s what I love so much is the creativity of what you can do is endless. Hi Doug, I have to say Department 56 has very nice products, the workmanship on them are outstanding, I look at them and then I look at Lemax and there is a big difference in quality. I like how you put the town together, i could look at it all day.

Your display is huge this year. Love the trick or treat lane series. That spider house looks so awesome. The tree eating the trick or treater reminds me of that possessed tree outside Robbie & Carol Anne's room in Poltergeist. That scary treehouse is super cool. Love the lit ghost accessory. Thanks for sharing, love the setup! It's interesting to hear that the Spider House is so hard to come by now. I started collecting in 2012, which is the year it came out, so I think I got mine in 2013. The buildings that were the toughest for me to get (at prices I was willing to pay) were Dead Creek Mill, Bewitching Costume Shop, Haunted Coal Car, Walter & Larry's Crypt, Halloween Victorian House, and Creepy's Pet Shop. I just finished setting my village up 2 days ago, I think it took me about 50 hours, and I still need to take a video. The last video I posted was under my husband's account in 2015, although not much has changed because I have run out of room. I haven't bought the Trick or Treat Lane houses for the last 3 years because I would have to carve a new platform in order to display them so that might be a project for the spring.

Great village, thanks for showing it. I usually watch your videos. I started with the 2017 Cracker Barrel Halloween review. It was the first holiday video I watched on youtube and I became hooked on holiday videos of all types.

This was so much fun to see. I am currently working on my Halloween village display for this year, built around the D56 Asylum piece I was convinced to buy based on your great review. Thanks for sharing your village video for inspiration!

Doug, I love your trick or treat neighborhood (who wouldn't). But I have to applaud your editing in the opening video of the village. It's wonderful! Your usual review videos are always slick, but the film and music mix here is excellent. You may have missed your calling in Hollywood.

Doug! I'm not even into Halloween but I'm totally impressed! Love it all but black cat flat is my fave. This must have taken a lot of time and patience and shows your passion for halloween. Great job!!

The lack of attention to detail that people display this stuff is up there.... you cant see any of the figurine's that go with the houses and you would be surprised at what the right lighting can do to those figures that we pay big money for. But they always get ignored for all the pretty sparkling lights on the houses but everybody forgets you also paid money for the figurine's but look at this you cant see one of them.I need to show my witch hollow collection and give a lesson on lighting up those figurine's. Its game changing

Amazing village Doug! I am starting to warm up to some of the dept 56 pieces, specifically the trick or treat houses. Random, off topic question though, what doo you think of the lemax pumpkin water tower? I did a review on it and I thought it was cool! I prefer the dept 56 one as much as the next person but I think it is a nice alternative
