Sam stands for Samhain which marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the coldest half of the year. It also marks the Wiccan new year which is very fitting since he is the enforcer of halloween rules. My only problem with the doll besides the flesh tone neck is that they didn’t bother to make the burlap on his sleeves into the fingerless gloves he has in the movie. Can’t wait to see in person though. The lollipop is fire. 🔥

Well, i love halloween and what it stands for 😊 Only we don‘t celebrate it quite the same way in Denmark as you do in your country, we DO cut pumpkin-heads and put light in them and we decorate with spiderweb, ghosts and other halloween-decorations, but kids doesn’t go out trick or treating, cause we have another tradition, in February, where kids dress up and go out to collect candy, they just sing instead of saying ‘trick or treat’ 😊

I have 2 of the original casting made by Sideshow Collectibles. I think I got them in 2010. I display one with sack mask on and one off. Both of mine came with black display stands. They mean the world to me. We watch it every Halloween 1st, without fail.......and during the month.

They Have 4 Sam's at FYE music store in Merrillville Indiana Right Now Top shelf item you don't notice unless u are in the back of the store and looking up

The sideshow sams price isnt though. I like the eyes on the sideshow version better and the worn look but i dont like how glossy that one looks. For $89 vs $400 for the sideshow i can live with this one.
