Wow this was so helpful thankyou!! Also I was today years old when I found out the difference between aspartate and aspartic acid. All this time I thought they were just two names for the same amino acid, not knowing that aspartate is the ionic form😅

Clearly Understood but ma pls i have a question, does the arrangement of my amino group matters, like the exam i want to take i have to draw a proper and well defined structure if my H atom is up and my COOH group is at the right position is it same as if my COOH group is up and my H group is right position?
