Are you using nVidia GPU? You may have to Restore the "Manage 3D settings" in the nVidia control panel. For me, OBS was crashing on exit, and Restoring the 3D settings fixed it (or Reset System settings with ATI GPUs). Also, try compatibility with Windows 8 instead, and also check "Run this program as administrator" so you don't have to manually start in admin mode.
