You saved me! Its all in the timing I tried the start/vol -up/down options and it didn’t work until I used the 4 second method you suggested.

His tablet kept restarting and wouldn't make it past the onn logo so appreciate you because was able to wipe his tablet back to factory reset and it came on and now been able to use the tablet again! It worked!!!! Used some of the comments bc holding down volume and power didn’t work. You have to hold volume up and power and then release them

for people who aren't successful with this approach... in recovery mode, I was just pushing all three buttons randomly for almost a minute when the menu finally appeared... In one of these other YT videos this was done and that initially didn't work so I ended up here. I have a Google Pixel 3a with the latest Android version (as of May 2024).

For Telecast P40HD tablet volume up and power button. Maybe it’s not work at the first time but turn off the power and try again it’s definitely work. Thanks for the tip man you are life saver. Have good one

Worked thanks. Now how do I get around verifying previous pin? The only reason I am resetting is because I forgot that pin. Now the phone wants that pin to continue loading

I did all of that and when my Android goes to boot up it goes black.. I can hear that the phone is on but screen is black, it only goes black when I try to boot up, screen and phone is normal when accessing factory settings.. not sure what the issue may be

What happens if the phone has no service ?? The update cant come through to make it recover?? Im locked out of phone so can even get wifi for it. Meaning service has been turned off from Verizon. Just looking to sell it.
