Clearly the totality of Batman's skill set is impossible for anyone to achieve with or without the excessive resources available to Batman.

How so?

For a start some of the things he does and has achieved are physically impossible like melting large ice blocks to water via body heat control in seconds. To be that hot Bruce would get brain damage as it is warmer than high fevar tempreture. So that covers the with aspect. So for what is achievable he needs the financial cloute to free up the time for training, and resting instead of working for a living. All the money is also needed for procuring the technology he uses. The businesses and connections for developing the said technology. Without the financial backing the time and resources required to reach peak Batman does not exist. Batman would be a lot less effective. Fewer martial arts skills, less tech, no Bat fleet of vehicles, less deep knowledge of a broad range of subjects, no supercomputer and range of batcaves accross the globe and space, no satelite network. Batman scales down in capability. Look at the history of the character and see how it changes if you make his parents broke and killed taking him home from school with Bruce not adopted but just in the system until he is an adult. Bruce has to build his life from nothing rather than build his skill set and return to wealth. There is no Alfred or Uncle maintaining an estate and business empire worth billions. No obvious batcave without scouting. No resources to improve the base without working a well paid job or becoming a successful business man. Can't wage an all encompasing finger on the pulse war on crime and build from scratch a major business as well as be an olympic athlete who trains all day. Sleep is required to heal the brain and body. Batman barely gets any now, adding a full business build means he must do less of something else either the training or crime fighting. Batman requires someone else to be performing the tasks he is not doing. So with a business growing he needs to have the right people hired and invested to push the growth and running of the business without wondering or contacting him ovee business decisions multiple times a day. Something that is unlikely to happen for a growing company in a highly dynamic situation. Something has to come first, training, crime fighting or business. All are from scratch, so the crime fighting comes last as it relies on the other two. Having the time for the peak training and the crime fighting means that the business must be fully built and left under the control of someone trustworthy first and formost before the other stuff can be focused on. Even if the base crime fighting and training comes before a business is built Batman will need to grow from small beginings and a lot less effective. Remember that an extreme amount of time and resources go into the imvestigation and prosecution of organised crime by the state so a vigilante is competing against that as well as being a criminal by definition.

@@gm2407 No one likes or knows Batman because of the first stat you cited. And the rest just sounds like excuses as to why YOU’RE not Batman. Realistically, Bruce’s workweek is probably about 4 hours. Adjusting sleep routines and exceeding enough with a good diet is enough to then train and be Batman.
@gm2407

@@soresl Batman takes microsleeps as it stands. In reality they are extremely unhealthy. Having to do the extra things means something else suffers. Also setting up a major company absolutely requires more than a four hour work week. Go look at the other videos on Batman as to what he does for various things that were on this channel. It is not why I am not Batman, you asked why he needs to be rich to even attempt to operate kn the level he does, when it should be exceedingly obvious once you go into the minutia of what it takes to be Batman. There is a reason even in universe his power is quipped to be because he is rich.

Is it possible to become a pseudo-Batman in real life? Sure, why not. Probably wouldn't work out too well for you, but if you had the resources and a fully realized plan on the decisions you would need to make to build yourself, you could technically become a nocturnal crimefighter similar to characters like Batman. But to attempt to cover the entire vast breadth of skills that he possesses is actually logistically impossible not to mention being able to consistently recover from the amount of damage he endures and keep on going strong until old age. The only way a human could pull off being lore accurate Batman is by being Batman. And nobody who has ever walked the Earth is Batman.

Did they really have to use suicide notes for that study? Kind of an unnecessarily morbid tool to use to study cognitive bias, wasn't it? Seems like they could have used screenplays, or some other obscure trivia.

Batman's brooding and sceptic perspective makes one wonder why he didn't kill the worst villans. Since his excuse "killing a murder keeps number of murderers equal" is absolute bullshit. Better excuse for him and giving him another depth would be, if he did it once he'd always find excuse to do it next time till he would become little better to those villans (I think it was implied in some stories) but his story should involve this and overcome this like he does with most of things to improve his character and yet remain a hero.

That's literally what his reasoning is in the comics. He told Red Hood that he's afraid of going down the same road as his villains if he starts killing them.
