so should I use string literals or string object ...which is more effiecient??....is the string literals better than string object?

If you do not modify string so frequently then go for String literal. If you want to perform some operations on the String using string methods then chose String Object. Actually, modifying String Object is also not efficient. You can use either StringBuilder or StringBuffer for that.
