--- okY i'm so sorry this isn't "The Voicemail" like it's suposed to be, but unfortunally i had big problems with SAI doing that animatic and basically lost 50 finished frames. I'm still going to finish it but just to make yall happy there's part 2!!! i hope you guys like it!
ABOUT THE AU:
This isn't BakuDeku goddamnit.
How many parts it will be? - bro, honestly? a hell of a lot. i already plan to make 7 of it and i didn't even got to overhaul arc. It will be really slow paced so you guys will need to be patient.
Is Midoriya Insane/Does he will get a quirk? - No and no. He surely have some bad traumas that could led to it but he's completely sane just as our normal protagonist in the original series. Midoriya is a strategist and uses normal weapons.
About the Animatic:
bro. it was so fast that i couldn't stand it and slowed it myself, but it mostly because it has a lot of text. You guys should stop to read the big ones.
This AU is mostly based on the thought:
"What would've happend to Midoriya if he gave up after All might told him he couldn't be a hero and never came to save Bakugou?"
Bakugou abuse led him into suicide but All Might was the trigger.
In the end, Bakugou was right all along after all those years of bullying. Bakugou was saved by other heroes on the Sludge villain incident and at the same time, Midoriya jumped off the roof and was saved by Kurogiri.
After Kurogiri left Midoriya at the hospital, he showed Shigaraki the Hero Analysis 13 that he took with him and Shigaraki took interest in the suicidal boy, doing whathever he could to make Midoriya survive.
After 2 months in Fujita Hospital (Nursing home) he accepted going with Shigaraki and started his job as a full time strategist to the League of Villains.
There will be 2 extras, being the next animatics:"Meeting" and "The Voicemail". I hope you guys keep supporting me and stay tunned for the next animatics!

I really like your take on how he became a villain!! Other villain deku aus just have shigaraki coming at deku’s moment of weakness and convincing him to abandon the ideologies he followed religiously just like that. But you portrayed his struggle to abandon the dreams and expectations he followed his entire life in a very realistic way which made the story all the better. I also loved the small comic relief bits. Keep up the great work!!!

It was so satisfying to see Deku yelling at Bakugo to get out of his room and leave him alone. I doubt Bakugo was really sorry. He was only sorry to be faced with the consequences of his actions.

I wouldn't go that far, since canon has shown a harsh wake up call to Bakugou's egocentric narrative will work and he does regret his past actions (him telling that kid not to look down on people or he won't see his own weaknesses, for example). For all his abuse Katsuki kind of needed Izuku, too. He would never admit it but Izuku is a stable force in his life and what he bases his entire self worth on. He believes he only has worth so long as he's better than someone else and despite himself he does actually trust Izuku. He was the only one Bakugou felt he could go to when he was at the end of his rope, the only one he would admit weakness to. It's an abusive and fucked up relationship, for sure. Bakugou got hella lucky to get a wake up call in canon before he broke or nearly killed someone.

@@vduck7354 Well let's be real if life continued as normal would Bakugo be sorry? No. It took Deku nearly dying for him to realize he was creating a monster. And now that he's faced with what he did only then was he sorry. We're talking about someone who routinely tortured Deku and enjoyed it and told him to kill himself. Anyone with 2 brain cells knows if someone being regularly tortured has a choice between ending the pain or continuing it.....they'll choose for it to end.

I think the reason villain deku is so popular is because all of us, all of the fans of the show, are all the dekus who never got powers, who never had someone swoop in and help us, give us a hand, who’s karma never found us. we don’t get to be heroes or whatever each of our childhood dreams are, because most people don’t get what makes them happy. At least, that’s why I connect to him so much.

Honestly after this year, it feels like all the dekus of this world are fed up and screaming about the corrupted system of society... and I don’t blame any of them for wanting to go villain when the ‘hero’s’ do nothing. It’s taking a stand to call out the flaws of society, even in a fiction one that seems nicer than ours.

Which makes sense, considering his background, he grabbed hold of the surname "Shigaraki" as soon as AFO told him it was HIS surname because he wanted a family. Izuku would be an amazing little brother and an even better second in command. I can't wait to see more of this! It's so good! The big thing about this is that Midoria was actually that close to being a villain. He wanted to help people but if that scene with the slime villain attacking Bakugo didn't happen, if All might wasn't nearby then Deku would probably have become either a villain or just another nobody. It's sad how just one day, one word, one second can change someone's whole life.

ASDFGHJKL I LOVE IT!!!! All your little comments and side notes throughout made me chuckle, the story was captivating and the art was lgkrtngetlkgmnthlonrtl. Bakuhoe got what he deserved honestly - I wish he faced more sincere consequences in the actual show. The Inko and Izuku squeal fest after he woke up had me rolling, and I love the idea of Shigaraki slowly convincing Midoriya to villainy by basically just being decent to him for 2 months. The fact that plus showing a small amount of belief in the boy was all it took to convert Midoriya really shows how shit society had been towards him... BUT THEN THERE WAS THE RETURN OF THE LEGENDARY MCDONALDS!!!!!! Also Todoroki, what're you doing here??

I love this so much! I always thought Bakugou deserved more of a punishment for what he did and some sort of angry reaction from Deku (can’t spell his actual name). I love the way you showed his relationship with the league and how upset and hurt and confused Deku was. This really does feel like a villain origin story and I can’t wait for more.

I don’t dislike normal bnha, but villain deku has always seemed to bring me more enjoyment to see. Izuku in the anime at the start is discriminated against, a powerless person in a society based off of powers, but they never actually went anywhere with that. Suddenly Izuku is next in line to become the greatest hero like a switch! They never actually attempted to solve the problem about quirk-less discrimination, instead they just gave Izuku powers and everything is happy go lucky and that was just a giant turn off for me personally. But it sucks even more now because he is getting even more powers on top of his ‘fuck you’ level hits, easily making one of the most interesting characters in awhile into an okish-character. He wouldn’t even need to be a villain. I mean how cool would it have been if Izuku got into UA with a fucking gun, that would have been 10 times better IMO; a character that relies on strategy and coordination instead of the generic ‘hit until you can’t hit anymore’ mentality that plagues most anime. (I would like to point out that this is my personal opinion, there is no need to yell at me. A. Because I am entitled to my own opinion and so are you, and B. If I cared what people on the internet thought about me I would stick a shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger with my toes.)

So...this is great Your drawings are so crisp, the choice of sometimes having a lot of colors and sometimes few is great. There are so many little details and plot in this one! This idea of Shigaraki and Kurogiri being there for him, playing games, sharing meals, be-friending him is a recruiting tactic I don't think I've seen in a villain! Deku work, so points for originality! I liked that Todoroki teasing too and that last image of him is great! That and the image of Shigaraki telling him that maybe he should stay as he is walking through the portal were probably my favorite art in this. (Also, Shigaraki telling him Kurogiri is his taxi, not Izuku's was great) The song worked perfectly. Also, Nico Collins and now this song...you have the best music taste and I can't wait to see which one you pick next! The pacing of the song worked great for moving the story along and pushing the emotions. The McDonald's saga continues! Edit: Sorry, forgot... I hope you're doing great and I'm excited to see more! You're really good and I can't wait to see what more you show us!

The way how Bakugou's hair looks deflated makes him have a more sad look. IDK if that's how you draw Bakugou, but that one touch just made it more realistic

VILLAIN DEKU is ment to be a SMART VILLAIN maybe corrupted by the league's views, of course human emotions have to be INCLUDED such as affection at some point BUT the story is meant to be on how they DESTROY the heroes and how HE becomes the greatest and most feared villain! I don't know about the purpose but I KNOW Villain Deku has a ''Villain'' in the name for a damn reason.
