1:36, yes I do understand this is the piracy screen. I thought it was showing the irregularty was detected screen, but it wasnt. thats prolly why it booted normally when I took it out of the game genie. Just kinda assumed it was sumn else and didn't really look at because of the past lol.

Curious if using game genie could trigger the anti piracy screen on killer instinct and ken Griffey winning run ( the other rareware games) as well.

To get Round it, I turn the effect offs before I start the game then soon as the game starts I usually switch it back on.

I got the unauthorized copy screen when I daisy chained 2 Game Genies with one GG the game booted normally

When I was a kid I got this screen and was scared lol. Just a bug since when I reset it, it was fine.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit against galoob for game genie and lost the lawsuit because the changes in game were not permenent. So nintendo found another way to crack down on it.
