Ronnie's biggest fear: His mother left him when he was a baby due to drug addiction, he became addicted at a young age, his brother was an addict, his father was an addict, His biggest fear is that he has passed on certain traits to his daughter Willow that will eventually send her down the same path. Ronnie completely changed his entire life after prison and then when Willow was born. He's now completely plant based foods, no alcohol, no drugs, he doesn't even medicate his ADD and OCD he controls it thru his music and videos. Plus it helps that he has a partner Saraya (Paige WWE) who understands and helps him when he's in need.

I've always thought the line "if it's killing you, then it's murdering me" refers to the family damage from drug addiction. "If you thinking watching from the outside is painful, put yourself in my shoes" type of deal.

I always took it as, because of his experience with drug addiction and what he’s learned, watching other people struggle with addiction whether it’s literal with drugs or metaphorical with social media and technology, Its even harder for him to watch. What’s killing you is murdering him on the inside.
@sirenpheonix626

My thoughts exactly! As a recovering addict, my family used to suffer watching me go through it and would tell me how much they were hurting. I used to not only live with the disappointment in myself, but also the guilt of what I was doing to them. It was a miserable life. But that line stuck out to me as well for that reason.

Ronnie's music gets held back because of his past....which to me is ridiculous because of how amazingly talented he is. When I first heard Popular Monster on the radio it made me hopeful for the future of his music. He doesn't think he'll get any awards for his newest song I'm not a Vampire Revamped strictly because of his past. He seems okay with it.....but I hope he does because his talent deserves to be recognized for what it is. Either way another killer reaction man 💚

If you listen to Escape the Fate "The Day I Left the Womb" and Falling in Reverse "I Don't Mind", you come to understand Ronnie's non-relationship with his mother who was herself addicted to drugs. To me the trilogy represents Ronnie's enlightenment regarding his usage of drugs and trying to break free of them once he finally realizes he has a daughter whom he loves and must be there for. If he continued down his path of drug addiction, he would not be there for his daughter much like his mother wasn't there for him. The other possibility is that he could die. This last video represents him coming to terms with his mother's abandonment and the real possibility that his daughter could also end up on this path someday (familial cycle of drug addiction) so he definitely needs to be here for her. Deep shit man 🤔. Great reaction sir. Keep 'em coming !!

Glad you said "Super-group" - right on!.... Yes, everybody IS on drugs - everyone has something that they think they cannot live without. Doesn't have to be a physical addiction.... You got it when you compared it to your view-count/Instagram!... So much post work on this clip - all those fluro lines!!!!.... Corey Taylor (Slipknot) "Everybody's dead from the neck up....!" ..... Ronnie's real mother preferred her addiction to her family - the scene is cathartic... Love Willow's performance in this clip - spooky and cool at the same time..... Ronnie's last line - he's hoping that Willow hasn't inherited from him and his mother the penchant for addiction.

I think "The American Dream is a killing machine" can be meant in a literal and metaphorical sense. In the literal sense, it can apply to celebrities, musicians, etc who literally end up dead because of chasing the "American Dream" whether it's through suicide, drug overdose, someone robbing them because of their money, crazy fans, etc... You see so many young, rich, famous celebrities that you'd think would be on top of the world and free of issues, yet they end up dead while chasing this dream. Like Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Juice Wrld, etc... the fame and money just gave them access to more drugs which ended up killing them. And then you also have people like XXXTentacion who was getting himself clean but ended up getting killed when someone tried to rob him because they knew he was rich and famous. It can also apply metaphorical to the common person, we all have our own bad habits, vices, "drugs", and so many people end up working a job they hate, repeating a daily routine they hate, etc for their whole life while trying to "live the American Dream" and never making it.

I thought I heard Ronnie say it was partially like Mr Lboyd did regarding likes and views etc. But also, the cliche of the American Dream that anyone and everyone can do and be whatever they want in America if they work hard enough. So if you aren't a financial success or achieving at least the stereotypical meaning of it (I.e. married with 2.5 kids and a picket fence) you are a failure and/or aren't trying hard enough.

ok... this will be long winded... my walls are down. ive only told 2 people about this... now you and the world. This trilogy is bringing back so many memories. I was 7 years old when i became my dads driver and gunman. He was the biggest dope (mj) supplier for 3 counties. He breed and trained one of the deadliest kids in the world. with saying that.... i was probably the nicest and most respectful kid you would ever meet. I wouldnt even open the screen door to my great grandparents who lived 1/8 of a mile up the dirt road from us even with them standing there without knocking or saying hey first. Up until 1988... I was the most feared and deadliest person in our area because I knew at even 5 years old... what was what and what my dad did. I was 5 when i learned how to shoot cans off fence post with a 44 mag with hollow points. I know this is sounding terrible... trust me... follow the story and it will all make scense. A lot of bad people were after what we had and a lot of bad deals went down that had to be taken care of. I was 7 the first time i was left alone to guard a guy in our backyard while my dad did a $23,000 deal down the dirt road.. then come back and do the other half in our back yard... I was told... if he moves from that spot... kill him... he left me the 44... That guy saw me standing there with the gun, holster and belt.. nervous... and asked... so how good are you with that.... i pointed to all the fence posts and so on over 100 yards away... i can shoot a can off everyone and not miss once. he went pale white... he was about to try and make off with the other half and kill me. he realized then, he couldnt. so..... without going into tons of other stuff.... i was cultivated to be my dads prize possession and everyone around knew it and are still terrified of my dead eyes to this day if they cross me. well.... things happened over the years... my dad left us twice... mom dumb enough to remarry the 2nd time and was left.... well.... something in me from her and her parents and my dads grandparents and mom stuck with me. they instilled the good in me. no matter how much bad he put in me... the good always won out, when our lives were not on the line. long story short.... i see that fine line everyday... i know how to skirt it and be the best person possible. I instilled that into my kids. scary thing is... im a switch flip when it comes to protecting anyone good. I wont seek bad... i wont do bad.... ill protect the good. well.... what this is all leading to, in the video when he is talking to his mom. Do i know you? thats what my dad asked on his deathbed. between agent orange from vietnam and hiv, his brain was gone by then. it was the first time my sons saw him. I was devistated. I didnt want them to meet him at all but his mom asked me to in hopes it was a good day. I wanted to hate my dad. I wanted to hate him for all the destruction he caused my family. MY brother was in the house and 3 1/2 years younger than me while i was 7 and protecting him and the $23,000... while my dad did another deal. Who in their right mind does that to their kid? I had to treat my brother like crap and act like i didnt want him around for the first 15 years of his life so i could protect him from my dad. My dad never included him for that. My brother was almost 20 before he found out the truth of our past. I sheltered him. I love him to death and would protect him no matter what. He thought i hated him all his life up till that point. the amount of crushed i felt can not be explained. so yeah... this trilogy hits home for me a lot. I hope my little story helps others know, we go through some crap. We have to deal with it the best we can... Just know that you can climb out and be good. we are not what our parents make us. we have the choice once we are away to become who we are ment to be. Be good. Help others and dont let your past keep you down... thats a cop out. If i can pull through and be best friends with most the cops here and have no record and help my family strive and anyone i meet who is in need, overcome then you can too. Sorry for the word vomit but you have my full respect because you look past the initial perseption and into the deeper. I respect you for that and i can tell, you have been through it and its made you a better man. I salute you.

I just love your take on things. You spott all the small little details that even most of their fans dont see/understand or appreciate. I love that you are pausing so often. You really hit the nail on the spot with most of your analysis and i absolutly love that man! And even if the meaning of the song was maybe meant to be something else, your collective thoughts on some of the described topics is alway logical and comes from your expieriences wich gives the whole reaction a personal touch and i love that too! Hope your day was amazing aswell and keep up your way of doing thing :) Much Love dude

Pause:....ok....pause again: so what happened was....😂 The guy who started screaming is Corey Taylor the lead singer of slipknot and stone sour, his voice always sounds a little overwhelming to people who first hear him, but over time I promise he grows on you. One of my favorite metal singers ever

the guy screaming is Corey Taylor he's from slipknot and stone sour, personally suggest snuff its one of slipknot's softest (scream/ growl wise) songs in their catalog and maybe dead memories little more in tense though

Find yourself a hammer, you've nailed this song only halfway through. Love your reaction, subbed after watching the trilogy. "That scary guy" is Corey Taylor and he is Metal Royalty. You are not wrong to quiver in his presence. He's been scaring the shit out of suburban evangelical mothers with intelligent children for over 20 years. The old woman is not his mom as far as I'm aware, but she does represent his mom. The black eyes are a tell that she had addiction issues (drugs I believe) which led to her abandoning her son (turning into a monster and being glitchy). The white eyes indicate a propensity for addiction (but being clean or fighting off addiction). Ronnie is scared that his daughter will have the same issues that virtually his entire family had. I shouldn't know this much about this man, but I'm so fucking impressed by his musical versatility that I don't care. I wouldn't call him a rapper (as that might be an insult at his level), but he is easily my favorite rapper.

There is very heavy symbolism in the chainsaw scene. He is killing his addiction essentially. The blond him represents him when he was on heroin. The _scary screaming man_ is Corey Taylor representing his hate and contempt toward that part of himself.

Great reaction, one band you havn't reacted to is Unleash the Archers, you are missing one of the best female rock vocalist and awesome musicians this band has, Awakening full band playthrough is always a good place to start followed by Cleanse the bloodlines,Tonight we ride, the wind that shapes the land, legacy, northwest passage and loads more
@witeshade
@witeshade 3 жыл бұрын
Not gonna lie, unleash the archers are good but they are a major step down from music like this, especially for a reaction format. There aren't really any surprises or twists or shocking moments, the music just sorta keeps going at the same pace with the occasional solo and some held high notes. Unless you're a major power metal fan, it can get really boring pretty fast.

@@witeshade yeah mate I agree but you can't expect shock value like this on every tune you goto have a wide selection as a reactor, the shock value of Unleash the Archers is the quality of her voice and how good the band are

Is that scary guy is the lead singer to Slipknot Corey Taylor. And fun fact Corey Taylor is so into the music and so good of a person he bought his own plane ticket through all the way down to do that piece and didn't charge the Band anything. He did it all out of his own pocket

Nail on the head mate. The problem is is that people these days have a simplistic view on things, relying to heavily in semantics. The AVG person fails to see the drugs are more than mere physical vices. These physical forms only allow an external reaction from the physical to the internal chemical reactions. This is basically marketing 101 and why Bill Hicks hated people in marketing/advertising.

Ronnie's mother abandoned him and his brother when he was a baby because of drugs. He got addicted himself, but when he went to prison, he got clean. He formed Falling in Reverse in prison, no longer an addicted. He is an amazing man, read up on him
