Keali'i Cooper it doesn’t hurt the horse at all 💕 the only part that you shouldn’t trim too much is the frog since it’s the sensitive part of the hoof. (The triangle in the middle) so the horse is in no pain at all 💕

Laurentiu Dragan Yeah, that’s how I learned how to work on cars and do woodwork. But if I messed up a cut or didn’t set a gasket properly, my truck wouldn’t die a painful death. Is there an apprentice/journeyman and licensing pipeline or is it purely word of mouth and reputation that keep farriers in business?

I have a weird obsession with these videos, but every time they trim the horse’s frog I get freaked out xD I was told they were super sensitive and to avoid them when cleaning, and this just defies the rules Great job though! It’s always cool to watch farriers work

They aren't usually sensitive, it's a cushion type material, unless it is affected with a bacteria or something that gets deep.
