Well back in my day.... Morbid Manor used to be a great walk through attraction out on that pier, but sadly, like Castle Dracula in Wildwood, and Brigantine Castle in Brigantine Nj, they were all lost.

It genuinely makes me feel so great to see this haunt get so much love. As cheesy as it is, this haunt is a big part of why I am who I am today. I spent all my summers at OC and even rode this 32 times total one summer. I still ride it any time I go and love to see my nephew enjoy it now. I went on to work at a haunted house for 9 years and live and breathe Halloween and truly give all the credit to trimpers haunted house. Last year (and other years) rumors came out it was closing and I’m just so thankful it hasn’t yet. I would chain myself to the building.

I was 6 in 1990 when I went through with my Pops but I closed my eyes the whole time and I got him to promise not to tell. The very next day I was able to get through it all legit. For me and my childhood, this is where it all begun.... I will always carry this place inside of me, wherever I go

I like the old amusement rides, they have a personality of their own and interesting looking. The enclosed area with children’s rides was real nice, they can still ride when it’s raining. Even the building itself was themed. Newer rides are kind of bland looking. Yeah, that last dark ride was of the traveling carnival rip-off kind but you were nice about it.

Whenever it comes to a haunted or any kind of dark ride, they will have compressed air and load horn sounds that Jake hates. 🤣🤣

The Haunted House is Epic! So Good! I wish I could find a video of the Little Rascals (or older) in the dark ride when they played hooky. Such a great 30's representation of this type of ride!!!

It's MASSIVE RARE to find a double-decker carousel still in operation like that. There only 6 of them in the WORLD. It's even more rare to find original horses that have the real-hair tails like that. Majority of modern carousel animals are plastic or fiberglass. Wooden ones are rare :(

Ahhhh, this was so nice to see! A lot of my extended family owns/works at Trimpers! The heavy zombie usage in the Haunted House was added to try and capitalize on the Walking Dead craze and Pirate's Cove used to be a NIGHTMARE to get through- it was super easy to get lost in. I haven't been on Morbid Manor, so I don't know much about it. The Jolly Roger pier was supposed to help draw in teens, hence why there's a TON of games and more 'thrill' type rides over there. The main Trimpers building with the carousel and all are all vintage antique rides! Supposedly one of the horses on the carousel is haunted! Shame Aladdin's Lamp isn't still around, I think you would have loved it.

Love this vlog. I vacation in OCMD every year, and I was the only one in the family who would go with my nephew on the darks rides. Now that he is older, when we go to WDW, we make sure we are in the same Doom Buggy to keep up the tradition.

The dark rides at the Ventura County Fair used to scare the heck out of me. It’s too bad that it’s closed again this year due to Covid. If you ever have the chance to drive out this way, you should check out the Ventura County Fair in Ventura, CA. Lots to do, lots of exhibits and such. Hopefully it will open up next year.

really enjoyed the lights-on walkthroughs of the other bill tracy rides you did. i never heard of him before, so it was fun and interesting to look at the history of these. i mean, i knew there was a company behind most of the classic designs, but didn't know who.

You would’ve loved Laff In The Dark at the old Long Beach Pike in LA. Too bad it’s long gone now. There are some great dark rides out there. Thanks for showing some of them. I always enjoy your videos. Especially the dark rides. Keep up the good work!

You should see if you can do a walkthrough of the terror ride and Dracula’s castle at lagoon amusement park in Farmington, UT. They both have terrific hand painted murals that are quite extensive and span across the entire entrance of the rides. Both rides were designed by Bill Tracy, you can tell just by the aesthetic. Classic rides, would love to see a guided walkthrough tour on your channel!

I lived in Baltimore all my life and I've never been to Ocean City. Actually didn't have a desire to go until now once I've seen The Haunted House. Thanks for always providing great content Jacob!!

Very AWESOME haunted house, pirates cove, morbid manor, and dark ride! The train with the light and zombies were my favorite attractions! ALL the attractions were very COOL, including PENNYWISE and the ghost in the pirates cove! The roller coasters look like a lot of fun to. Very NICE pier and a very GOOD view of the ocean! Morbid manor used to be a walk through and had real actors at one point but burned down. Over the years the theme has changed MANY times. When I was younger I remember being able to see a dragon at the top of what I thought was a spiral lift? Either way there were also two dragons coming down the front back then too. Then it changed to morbid manor 2, then clowns took over, and now is the current version.

As a local from OC, MD, I can tell you that you should have seen the original Morbid Manor. It was the BEST walk through haunted house! It had real actors portraying the monsters and fear factors. Unfortunately, it burned down. It had been destroyed once by a hurricane and rebuilt, but the fire just destroyed too much & they decided not to rebuild. The fire was so bad it had even destroyed most of the water park they had right next to it. Such a shame.

There use to be a walk through haunted house on the pier. And an Aladdin them fun house by pirate's cove. The haunted house was always my fave too.

Do Bay beach greenbay! And do terror on the fox its a great series of haunted houses u can go through in one run in the fall you should also try the kohler art museum they have crazy wacky weird stuff there and just made a new building so there are 2 one for temporary attractions and one for permanent or the fondulac tiki bar is a fake beach and tiki bar on a lake that makes you feel like your on the coast also try some of the mini golf courses in the dells and the jet boats they are like the ducks on steroids

I've been watching your videos for a good while now, and I'm so used to seeing things on here far far away from where i live - You can imagine my surprise seeing our local little dark ride(s) on here. Wish I could've seen ya! Have fun while in the area!! ps. surprised there wasn't a friend in the Haunted House with you. On occasions, they'll have a worker in there in a Michael Myers costume to jump out near the end.
