I compared the FENTY BEAUTY Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade Private Island to the MAYBELLINE City Bronzer and Contour Powder in the shade 200 Medium to find out which ones better! It's a high end vs. drugstore bronzer showdown! Both claim to be matte finish bronzers for medium skin tones but which ones better??

TrinaDuhra I bought the 100 shade from maybelline and not impressed. I love my Marc Jacobs omega bronzer. Best drug store bronzer is the physicians formula butter bronzer in my opinion. The fenty one looks nicer on you as well.

Ohhh the butter bronzer! I have that! I gotta pull it out and experiment! And I haven’t tried the Marc Jacobs one - I’ll definitely be on the lookout for that. Have a great weekend! ❤️

I like the maybelline better too! But only because of the tone. I think for the light-medium skintone that Trina has maybelline looks like true warm-brown bronzy shade that effortlessly blends in with her face, and fenty looks orange and very apparent. Personallly not a fan of orange looking bronzers. Also like the maybelline allows you to build up the color slowly then having too much pigment that you then have to work to blend out.

Fenty is so orange on you while Maybelline is subtle, looks buildable and way more natural. Plus doesn't look flat. 🤔

All the product fall out is normal for drugstore. I don’t know why people are surprised every time. Why didn’t you use the same brush to blend it in the second time when you did it with the Fenty one? I feel like you using the drugstore brushes to blend on maybelline made it look worse on you. Maybelline looks better on you than Fenty. Fenty is too orange for your skin tone. IMO

in my opinion you went too light on the maybelline. we have the same coloring/skintone and i went with 300 and its super pigmented like the fenty

WOW I have then Maybelline one and I agree its super subtle but it has NO fallout! I was like WOW when you reacted that way to fallout!

Definitely Fenty. Warms up the skin beautifully and looks smooth. Maybelline appears slightly cooler and, despite the shimmer, a little flat. Not really a contour fan personally, I prefer just adding glow and dimension to avoid looking overly matte, a necessity at my age!

The Maybelline one looked more like a natural bronze on you, it's almost like sun-kissed. Private Island has a very orange color. I have it and it also looks super orange on me. I will be returning it to get another bronzer that's less orange.

the fenty side looks so flawless and smooth whereas the maybelline side looks slightly muddy. not sure if it's cause of the slight grey tint? i got the fenty bronzer during the VIB sale and it's now my go-to bronzer. i also got private island me and got nervous cause it looks so dark in the pan, but it blends so well on the skin

I searched for a video on the maybelline one and I was just about to type, is it just me, but am I the only one that likes the maybelline better...but someone else said the same lol. The color is huge, not just the finish which doesn't look different , and the fenty doesn't look as flattering as the other one in my opinion...the fenty is too orange🤷‍♀️
