With the push from social media and the internet, you wouldn't imagine what a 2020 Felix Trinidad would do. He would've made 500 million easily with his fight style, personality and overall boxing success. Trinidad is what boxing fans DREAM of watching fight. Doesn't matter if you're white, black, red, Chinese, British....You ALL want to see a guy like THIS mix it up. Fearless...Talented...and played to the crowd. #TeamTrinidad #Tito #HOF

@@gavinbrando8255 When you had the handspeed and power in both hands that he had, there was really no need to box. Like asking a baseball player who hit left-handed to suddenly turn around and bat right-handed lol. Dude was fearless. I will never forget him rocked against Hopkins, after gassing out in round 10. He came out and still went forward at Hopkins. He was still trying to KO Hopkins even though there really was no chance. Takes a special fighter to dive onto his own sword trying to win a fight. Tito did that vs Hopkins. #Legend

I believe Tito needed a few more tune up fights, and new trainer and he would have beat B-Hop..They put Tito in with B-Hop too early, Tito wasn't the same after B-Hop fight ! I always said Tito had no business in going to 160 at all, Don King did rush him to the Middleweight tournament and the mistake of 160 was Tito was fighting tall avr 6,2 to 6,3 Middleweights with long reach and power in hands like Hopkins and Wright and bigger mistake that after 160 tournament if Trinidad Don King wanted Tito to go up to 170 to fight Roy Jones Jr in his prime and that would of been a bigger mistake I think once Trinidad face a real Middleweight with great defense and boxing skills Tito met his match great campeon de PR but that fight with Hopkins was a mistake

Never loaded his gloves. His father taped it in a way to protect his hands that is legal in all states except New York. Inoue, Floyd mayweather, and a few others used the same exact wrapping technique so they won’t hurt their hands. When you have to wrap them in a way that gives you less protection on the knuckle it gives you less confidence to throw hard. One reason Floyd never fought outside of Vegas was due to this and he needed lidocaine injections in his hands which are also illegal with every other commission besides the Nevada state athletic commission.

Trinidad was a bad dude. Would have been a tough opponent for any middle-weight boxer in any era. Obviously, gifted boxer such as SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez, Duran would have been extremely interesting. I personally thought DHL beat him solidly and really didn't need those last two rounds. So someone with good foot speed, hand speed, good jab , ring generalship and power could be a problem for him, but he's the real deal - for sure!
