Excellent. This is the truth. Yet, the GREATER inconsistency is NOT believers, hurt by the church as the body of Christ, struggling to still love the church, the body of Christ. The greater inconsistency is the body of Christ, acting AS the body of Christ, hurting badly, some believers, and doing so in the name of Jesus. That's a greater inconsistency than the hurt believer struggling to still love the church. But what you say in this video, this is the right perspective: however the church hurts us, we are not only called to love her, but we are BUILT to love her now, as believers in Jesus.

This is indeed great, however we must be careful how we define "church". I've heard "get in where you fit in", but some people just don't mesh with a lot of our popular western traditions. The Church universal, and what we call the local church are needed, but when I say local church, I'm not talking about a corner business franchise. A local church is a group of people living in community with each other. That community can be small or bigger, but they live in community. The church isn't about attendance, it's body life. I've found that only persecution brings that type of community together....something to think about. ....

Agree, history told us that trust without reason and sustained positive experience is tend to develop into cult

If God loved the church, so should we; we just have to find the one that's right for us to attend. No church is perfect.

I'm more interested in why this is a question for millions of people, which is what CDC stats show. What are people going through where they feel such torture with being connected to the church? Should the focus be towards the body of Christ, which people wish to leave, or the actual person that wants to leave?

What if these brothers and sisters are ignoring a person in the community who is broken and hurt? The Church is a body of Jesus Christ, built upon His love. If there is no love and a one-sided relationship, people will leave that place.. It is plain and simple ..

U cant force it though, it should be out of free will not from shaming, people put up boundaries because of experiences and positive experiences can only build trust up again not just because someone says so

If you hate a man's wife, will he accept you into his home? Same goes for Christ and his bride. He's coming back for the church. His bride. We better all hope we're apart of that church.

This young man needs to choose a side, it's obvious he wants to play the Christian and then on the other end has concerts that look just like the secular demonic world. I'm not saying he's lost, I'm saying he needs to stop trying to appeal to the world, look like the world and sound like the world in his music. Either you're all in for Christ or you aren't.

Keith Thompson I don't see it that way... Christ does call us to disciple other people and this is his OWN way to share the gospel because in our world now, people like hip hop, they like cool beats... What I see is him trying to relate to all these lost people by sharing Jesus to them in a way that can appeal to them and find Him interesting :)

Keith Thompson your medium will not reach some ppl. Trip Lee has made many come to Christ. Do you think a 36 mafia or 8ball and Mjg listener is going to start singing hymns? I heard Da Truth back in '08 and my life changed. I've back slidden hard and back and grown and stumbled. but with out this hip hop or rap I would still be lost.

Actual question: How are his concerts secular or demonic? You don't have to be a non Christian to rap. If you listen to his music, you'll find all of it worshipping only the creator and never any worldly things.

You obviously weren't listening! Listen to it over, slowly, so you can understand!
