I'm not a Christian rap fan. I was always into regular secular rap. Most Christian rap is cheesy imo. I include Lecrae in that. "The children of darkness are in their generation wiser than the children of light." Trip Lee, otoh, is an actual amazing rapper, by any metric. He just has a natural flow that's very hard to find. He's no joke.

Even though we've seen the videos already, putting the trilogy together was a great idea and I enjoyed reading the little fun facts at the end. Everything was well done, to God be the glory!

Trip, I still listen to so many of your songs from the early 2000’s. I wasn’t really a Christian back then I just knew about it and liked the sound. I’m 24 now and the lyrics only started making sense in recent years. They’re part of what got me to open my bible and find out what the text actually says. Thank you for speaking truth, it took years for it all to hit home for me and who knows who else needed it but the Lord used you to do something incredible in this day and age. Glad to see you still make music!

I'm not sure if this is right but I'm guessing that this was an album that he made music videos for that were connected in one way or another, so he just put it together and made this.

I think it's nice that you are doing this for god, however, I don't know why, but I feel like all of the Christian rappers that have been in 116 have been getting away from God's word. I might be wrong but it seems like everyone doesn't get into the word of God in their songs anymore. 🤔 Anyway that's just my opinion 🤷 I just noticed my Playlist is all of your and the rest of the old 116 crew members' old songs and your new ones don't seen right to me.

I've found that a lot of the popular "Christian" rappers nowadays aren't always glorifying God in their music. Trip Lee however, is one that I know is rooted in faith.

I really wish Trip would not venture into rapping about Republicans and Jesus. There are genuine Christians who are Republicans, and Republicans in general DO tend to stand up for Christian values. Yes, there are phonies, but that's on the Democrat side as well, but I don't recall Trip mentioning the Democrats. Let's be fair, brother Trip.
