Dobrodošli, welcome to this video!
Today a company that is very dear to me, KLM!
Not long ago as a little boy the crew would eagerly show me the cockpit, allow me to land there and give me tours around the aircraft.
This was the foundation of my aviation hobby.
Fast forward many years and they continue doing the same!
Come and join me on this flight to Zagreb and enjoy all the Amsterdam plane spotting, all from the best EU short haul airline!
(Edit) I just remembered that Aegean gives a nice full service!

@@TheLayoverAviation I’m also based in Dubai and usually fly with klm to Germany but this time I saw that airfrance premium eco is always only 101€ more expensive then the regular economy fare. Maybe you’d want to check it out for a video, it also give double XP

Superb trip report...( as always....!!!)... Have flown KLM several times myself...and the courtesy and professionalism shown by their staff , both on the ground...as well as in the air always stand out .. they're a superb carrier... thanks for sharing...!!

With aviation knowledge that you have, I'd definitely recommend working in the industry if it fits your lifestyle! Great video as always! Compared to other airline tubers, I like your reports; especially it helps when you live in Dubai and travel between Europe and Asia, meaning you get to try multiple airlines!

The whole taxiing felt like a drift😁 Sports car. But the best drift was on the Delta B767-400ER, have the video around here somewhere!

The durian thing is so random, but I’m sure there are some sneaky tourists trying to fly some home. The sandwich was nice! While I was editing I kept thinking of having one (I don’t have that cheese here in Dubai😢)

I love KLM! Used to be Flying Blue Gold with 'em. I've flown on their 737 as well, on the AMS-IST route twice now, really enjoyed it. - Red

It tough competition on the route to Istanbul, as TK is very good. But KLM just has the touch point of their staff, don’t know if you agree. It seems like everyone loves their job and company. Thanks for writing and hope you get to Gold again soon!😋

This was a short flight and video, much easier to make! I flew the Qsuites again yesterday and boy, that will take me ages to edit! So I’ll do some easier ones first😋 KLM is really great, everyone loves their job so it becomes one big family.

3 veces?! Te quedas dormido o qué?!😅 Los rodajes en KLM son bestiales! Me alegro que te hayas dado cuenta, hay muchas aerolíneas que nunca se van a pasar de 20kts por procedimiento, pero en KLM se que he ido perfectamente entre 30-40kts en varias ocasiones! Un saludo a ti! Me voy de camino a Kenia 👋🏼

I will fly them soon for sure! Just waiting for the right chance. They’ll fly to Dubai in the winter season, so perhaps then to connect to the US. Because I think a long haul flight would be more interesting. But soon!

Hola Alex! Great video as always and obviously quite some nostalgic memories for me! I always felt part of one big family simply feeling proud of presenting "onze nationale trots"!! KLM was often presented by flying swans. I do miss it, but times have changed! Won't go into details but not so much for the better! Seriously thinking of joining?! Will I see you in AKL soon? Hallo Flip! Sorry for the late reply, I’m busy working incredibly much after the summer holiday backlog. I’m happy you got to see some KLM action, I hope to be able to take a longer flight soon. As you know, the pride in KLM is one of the most beautiful things out there. Just to see how the latest CEO was asked by all employees to stay says it all. I don’t think I’ll be able to visit AKL soon although I’ll seriously consider flying there later this year once the EK premium economy starts its flights there. I however have some excellent EK A380 Business Class from Washington to Dubai coming up soon for you!! Greetings from Washington!

Hey Shubham! I would love to try both of those, can’t wait. The problem is that tons of documentation and time is required to take any of those airlines. I’m not afraid of the risk, I’ve visited many complicated places, but just wondering how to get in and most importantly; how to get out! I’m sure I’ll do it one day soon!

Lovely video and great flight, you can sense the affection you have for KLM. Do you know why KLM never operated the A380, did they ever have options to add to the fleet?

I doubt the A380 would fit in their fleet. I don’t think there is any destination that requires that many seats to be filled. Perhaps Curaçao and that’s about it.. Lots of affection for KLM, great memories!

8:29 you should listen to the flap extension on a 737-200. There are a lot of them still flying in canada.

15:22 Aegean still offers complimentary service even on a short flight from Dubrovnik to Athens! I’ve flown with them last week and what surprised me is that they had two options for sandwiches, meat and vegan were the options. I’ve uploaded a video about them on my channel :)

The longest fight has been from Dubai to Los Angeles or Dallas, both were just over 16 hours 😵‍💫 While it’s a convenient direct flight, you eventually just run out of idea’s of what to do!

Hi again, I’ve a layover at Zagreb from October 4th till October 6th. Arriving around 23pm and leaving early in the morning, so I’ve one entire day left foot sightseeing. I know you have some connections with Croatia. What do you recommend for me? Zagreb itself? Or maybe a city nearby or to go somewhere by train? Looking forward for your reply! :)

United is coming soon. I mostly travel for business, so if I don’t get send to India it’s quite hard! I also need to apply for a visa and all that, so it takes some time!

Same quality has Air France? next week will be my first flight with AF. In general i take KLM but this time seems AF was cheaper..

They both share revenue anyway.. It’s practically the same airline. I think that on short haul KLM stands out better. And the crew have complete different service personalities. But you won’t notice much difference on the short haul. I hope you have a very nice flight on AF! I always have fun.

@@TheLayoverAviation It really depends on the departure time and flight length. I had quite a nice wrap on my last Air France flight. KLM also serves just a small snack on shorter flights. Keep up the good work btw. You make great videos 👍👏
