I was on the exact same route as you and I think you sat next to me and my family , It was a really excellent trip and we all enjoyed it a lot , the business class on the a380 is far better than the one in the 777-300er in my opinion , and the only bad thing about the flight was the cameras as you said I really do think that emirates is the best airline in the world but if they upgrade their cameras then there wouldn’t be a doubt in comparing airlines with emirates

I have my personal doubts about the value of this upgrade. Okay for the experience. But just 3 hours flight. And not even lounge acces. I assume also no extra luggage allowance and extra miles? Nice for the flight: seat, food, boarding. Keep up the good work 👍

Emirates business class tickets are usually over $1000, so this is a very good deal. As it was my first ever Emirates flight and then to have the chance to fly business class for this price was a nobrainer.
